New 'Glee' season 2 promo: What dreams are made of

glee-season-2Image Credit: Adam Rose/FoxOh. Em. Glee! Season two of the hit Fox series is just around the corner, and in an effort to toy with my lack of patience promote the show’s Sept. 21 return, Fox released this teaser with Bones‘ Emily Deschanel and Tamara Taylor. Nice use of synergy, guys! But I can forgive the blatant plug for another Fox show, since the new promo appeals to my “Empire State of Mind,” and my inner Full House fan. There’s John Stamos! Who’s not given a chance to say a line! (How rude!) Check it out after the jump.

My favorite part of the clip? Charice as Rachel Berry’s new competition. (That’s Lady Gaga’s Telephone I hear.) It doesn’t get much better. Except it will, because this is just 90 seconds of Glee. I can hardly contain my excitement for another full season. But I’ll leave you with this Sue Sylvester gem: “You think this is hard? Try being waterboarded. That’s hard!”

What do you think of this extended trailer? And are you excited about season two of Glee?

    Can’t wait!

Sloppy babies! Rachel Barry has no such thing as competition!

  • Emily

Oops…that’s not Michaela Conlin; that’s Tamara Taylor! But the preview has made my countdown to Glee (and Bones) even more intense!

I am so excited for Glee to come back! Watching this filled a little bit of the hole I have had in my heart this summer.
By the way, it’s Tamara Taylor not Michaela Conlin. The Bones cast did introductions for all the premiere clips on fox.com. As a Bones fan, I find them pretty funny.

That’s Tamara Taylor not Michaela Conlin

  • CH

    Umm…that’s not Michaela Conlin.

  • Caitlin

That wasn’t Michaela Conlin, that was Tamara Taylor.

  • Gleep

Not loving the German ad in the green bar across their faces that you can’t remove. Otherwise can’t wait for Glee to start back.

    • Sienna

Actually, you can. Scroll over the arrow (right under the YouTube logo) and select “Turn off Annotations”.

Thank you! That was beyond annoying.

  • Reena

yes the green bar is soo annoying but whats even more annoying is how skinny Lea Michele has gotten I liked the fact that she has curves i know she is a vegan and all but she is looking SICKLY! more and more like she should be on gossip girl not on GLEE!

Fat people don’t like healthy people, apparently.

      • V

It’s more…she was healthy and beautiful before, now she looks super-thin, which isn’t actually her best look. I didn’t think she was particularly large before, and she seemed perfectly healthy to me…

  • Laurie

Lea sounded amazing. We need to hear more of Charice’s vocals to know if she can hold her own. I can’t tell from that clip.

    • Deandra

Um, you’re kidding, right? See, there’s this website called “YouTube,” where you can actually search for videos of anything you can think of! I know, it’s crazy! Now enter “Charice” in the search box, and you’ll find hundreds of videos of her singing. Technology is so amazing! OMG! GTFO, seriously.

  • Jen

That’s Tamara Taylor (Dr. Saroyan) not Michaela Conlin…

    Cannot wait for GLEE!

  • Gage

HOLY SH*T! i don’t know what else needs to be said. Season 2 is gonna be EPIC! : )

  • Alia

Wait a minute. Is that ARTIE dancing to “Empire State of Mind”???

    • Shaun

It’s Artie, but he is in his wheelchair. The ad is covering up the chair.

    • SM

I’m pretty sure he’s in his wheelchair.

  • Nicole

Lea is looking like a skeleton.

  • Briana

Oh my freaking God! This looks amazing! Telephone, Empire State of Mind. Holy sh*t!

  • Emily

Finn peaking around the corner at hearing the other guy singing in the shower — like Will did in the first episode — cracked me up.
