I was thrilled to see those 3 women go. They were all so boring and added nothing to the show. I thought this show was so fun! It is so fun to watch these couples. I haven’t figured out why Gwen was even on this show. Jesse B said it all when he said that he looks at her as their mother. I am anxious to see which couples remain together after the show. I think this being the first show of this series it went very well. I was concerned when I heard that Melissa was going to be co-hostess with Chris. I figured she would never shut up and take over. She did a great job and her and Chris together were great.

I was enjoying this show as a mindless summer show to watch and entertaining since the people seemed to know what to do to entertain. I was just so disappointed in this episode that women again had to ‘depend’ on a man to maeke it further in a game and, as already mentioned, if you were’nt slutty or making out with everyone, then you didn’t stand a chance. This is such high school mentality and kind of patronizing for viewers – not sure what the age demographic is that you target but this age group (25-30) is done with seeing women just being a pawn for men and needing to have horribly fake boobs/tan you name it to garner anyone’s attention or interest. Good example for younger women acutally in high school to see – I’m sure you have no desire to be responsible and just do this for money/most viewers but sometimes it just goes too far…..but what else can you expect I guess

Totally predictable show! I’d bet $50. that KI-TEN are going to win! That’s how predictable this is.
Elizabeth – totally annoying and extremelly manipulative. And the fact that she said “if like Gwen when I’m in my forthy’s comment” is tasteless. Gwen’s age is a mistery – for this airhead to comment on it is plain stupid. Elizabeth, you look like’ you’re already in your forthy’s. If Gwen is in her forthy’s – she looks damn good. Looks more like early 30′s to me. Nathalie…I don’t know what to make of her…the party, “I’ll do anything with anyone for $20.” girl is totally boring – she acts like she’s Paris Hilton. Then once in a while you see a human, decent side…much more desirable.
Kovacs…I’m sorry, in my hubble opinion is NOT remotely good or even decent looking! Nor is David! Of the three “boys” left (and I say boys because that is how they are behaving) Kip is the most decent looking one. But Kip, please stop crying about loyalty etc…Nikki kept you in the game…did you keep your loyalty to her? Yes, its a game so, stop crying about ppl’ loyalty unless you are going to do the same! Grow a backbone will ya!!!! Its really to bad Wes is gone…he made the game more intersting and definatly brought some needed maturity to this show!!! Chris & Melissa – (while not a couple) you both should win for the best looking “couple”. The remaining certainly dont deserve it!!!

They should have had some sort of valid contest (englist test? math problems?) to win the RIGHT to spin the bottle and choose a partner. Both the guys and the gals could have competed for the chance to spin the bottle. Then you could have seen real strategy at play. Say, Gwen gets the spin and it lands on Kyptin. How might that have changed the game?

Probably too late to get a response, but why were there three extra girls to start with? It wasn’t even in the beginning? If it wasn’t, why not? That stacks the deck in favor of the men who can feel much safer that they’re going to be picking in the end. If it was even, how did it end up uneven?

    • Charlie

At the beginning of the show, Chris said that the reason there were extra women is because there were more shows of “The Bachelor” than of “The Bachelorette” and that at some point during the game, it would be evened out. They knew this was coming but like everyone else (viewers), I’m sure they expected it to be a real challenge and not a popularity contest or boyfriend/girlfriend spin the bottle teenage drama contest. So unfair but Niki and Gwen had too much class for those teenage antics anyway. I’m actually happy that they are not reduced to this humiliation anymore.

Unless Kiptyn and Tenley win the next challenge, they are going home. Kiptyn said it best when he said it comes down to strategy or loyalty. Sadly there will be no loyalty for him when it comes down to Dave or Kovacs having to choose one of them or Kiptyn.

    wow-couldn’t see that coming-glad I missed it.

If there is another season of Bachelor Pad, PLEASE get rid of Melissa Rycroft! She is HORRIBLE! I’m afraid that the producers paired her up with Chris Harrison in season 1 so that in season 2 she could take over on her own. There is no reason for her to be involved in the show and I can’t stand watching her! Please just let Chris Harrison do it alone!

I know this is a late posting, but I just watched the episode from Monday. If there is another season of this show, I think the concept needs some work. Having these pre-existing couples on the show is ridiculous and boring. And the worst was letting the remaining guys just pick who they wanted to stay. No challenge in that, they of course will pick the girls who are/will have sex with them! I know strategy could have changed the game early on, but it would be more fun to watch if the challenges were more interesting and carried more weight. Any game where some Neanderthal like Dave can control it needs some rethinking!

Jenna. Nobody cares about your stupid opinions. Just because someone watches a show does not mean they don’t have the right to criticize it. So get your head out of your butt hole and grow up and knock it off with your sarcastic bullying comments.

  • missy P

Sounds like this annoying Jenna skank needs an attitude check. I concur.

  • Emma

We’ve just watched the episode (a bit behind here, no time on weekdays) and really, Chris? Really? Having the alpha males SAVE the women by simply CHOOSING them? The only way for the girls to have a chance is to make sure they are chosen by the guys, no way to save or support themselves?

This show, especially the last two episodes, lessens my opinion of the whole Bachelor/ette programme and also of you, Chris.

  • Jennifer

Well it is going to get interesting now. The 3 teams protecting each other are now in major competition with each other.
I’m pretty sure Kovacs would stab Elizabeth in the back in a heartbeat to get the money. I don’t want to see her getting all upset about getting hurt- she is being downright dingy about the whole thing. She doesn’t seem to be “all there” anyways. She kinda scares me. Reminds me of a girl who dated my ex- PSYCHO!!!
It’s amazing that they are going at it like this for $250,000. Yeh- it’s a good bit of money but it’s not like it’s a million or more. It’s gong to be fun to watch how this is going to end.
