Are you tired of sitting on your couch with nothing to do? Are you wasted? (It is the holiday, after all.) Then you’ll love this new video game inspired by The Room. (Click here to play.) Essentially the film in video game form, The Room: The Game takes you inside Johnny’s life, sending you through the streets of San Francisco to fight with your boss about your promotion, buy Lisa a new red dress, and say hi to plenty of doggies. Yesterday, I vowed to play the game for just five f–king minutes…which quickly turned into 90 minutes. (Oops.) It’s as addictive as scotchka! Since I’m not too video game savvy, though, I couldn’t seem to defeat Chris R., no matter how many water bottles and footballs I hurled his way. Enjoy, and try not to throw your computer out the window in frustration.

I hope Wiseau won’t sue the creators of this game and have it taken down. BTW, can anyone list the 6 Things Johnny Wishes He Could Unsee?
Actually Wiseau enjoyed the game according to Newground’s review and this game was pretty awesome in my opinion!
one involves denny and a bucket
another involves that best friend and that girlie’s mother
Oh hi Denny!
I found two of the six things. One was Claudette farting into a balloon after I walked into the apartment after I walked out. I can’t remember when it was though. The second was after the “how is your sex life” scene. I walked back into the coffee shop and found Mark either making out with or drawing on Johnny’s painting.I couldn’t tell which one he was doing though.
He wishes he could unsee Mark and Claudette making out, Denny humping the couch, Denny using a bucket for a toilet, Mark praising a picture of his beard, Mark drawing a goatee on a picture of Johnny, and Claudette breaking wind into a balloon.
Also, collect all the spoons you see. I didn’t when I played, but a friend of mine was playing at the same time as me and collected them all, and it was worth it at the end.
Thanks a bunch!
This was fun until I couldn’t find Johnny’s work. I’m sure I’ll keep at it…
I don’t think I truly realized how God-awful the movie dialouge was until I was reading it outloud. Also, the controls are appropriately frustrating.
BEST DAY EVER.
I just hope they don’t have us work in the computer business. It’s too competitive.
You’re lucky…I didn’t get any calls today.
Awesome game :]
Loved that game, some parts were a bit hard, but I got through them at some point or another. I love the alternate ending (I won’t give away any spoilers). It took me hours to get.
No kidding…if you trip over one of those logs towards the end of the race with Mark, you’re pretty much done.
To beat Chris R. you have to use glamor or taunt (whoever turn it is first) against him and then get a golden water bottle throw. If you do that then that will be worth 3x the damage
Apparently Tommy loves the game!
I’ve already gone through this thing twice and beat it. (I didn’t know I was supposed to collect spoons the first time around.)
LOVE that it fills in (many) the gaps in the movie. (Like why Peter wasn’t at Johnny’s party in the end.)
It also tells us how Chris R got his revenge. And yes, I love the alternate ending as well. I’m about to play it again and try to collect spoons. I love this game like Denny loves Lisa.
Lisa loves Denny very much…like a son…like a human BEAN.
I wish they told us more about Chris R though. What caused him to deal drugs? What kind of drugs did he give to Denny? What’s his full last name?
The game implies, via Denny’s diary, that Denny scored the pot for Mark. That is the pot that Mark is smoking on the roof when he nearly kills Peter. As far as other Chris R tidbits, they lie in the mind of Wiseau.
this game is so amazing! single greatest game, about the single greatest movie… EVER.
Stuck on the Record everything part…..is there a hidden tape somewhere.
There’s an electronics store if you go right down the street and click up by where the flower shop is, then another click to the right. There are tapes on sale there. Then you just put them in the recorder in the living room. Hope this is clear enough.
That took me a while to find too. But I love that Rosie O’Donnell’s twin and that wonderful doggie are in every store.
GREAT GAME
it was totally the funniesxt game ever, even though i was skeptical at first!
Love this site and these guys
They always make funny and inventive games with old styles and today’s fun. Truly geniuses of their field and highly underrated. Or unknown I should say. Everyone should give NG a try, at least once. Ah hell, give it a few tries! There’s enough variety and fun to suit anyone. Well, almost
