BB has lost it’s integrity! Enzo cheated constantly and nothing was done. I have totally lost respect for the way the season was handled, or mishandled by the staff. The cheating by Enzo, sneaking food by leaning in the fridge… They lost me as a viewer after 12 seasons as a loyal watcher of the show, BBAD, and the feeds. I will miss the great show that this once was!
Big Brother/CBS was really quite unfair and cruel to Kristen, allowing Andrew to humiliate her on live TV with no way to respond, and then interviewing a boyfriend of 7 weeks and making her sound like she was having an affair and is a whore. Throughout it all, she didn’t whine and she was strong and took responsibility for her actions.
However, looking ahead to the finale, please don’t embarrass her further. Don’t let Andrew go off uncontrolled on live TV again. Don’t portray a sweet relationship between her and Hayden as something sleazy.
It’s beyond the pale that BB is romanticizing an engaged girl’s relationship with Lane, yet went out of the way to trash Kristen’s reputation. And while Rachel and Brendon mortified live feed viewers with constantly playing up their sexual relationship for the cameras, none of that side of them was aired on the show. Instead, you chose to make Kristen the bad girl.
Please balance out your portrayal of Kristen at the finale. You owe her.
I guess I’m one that is actually less upset about Enzo’s eating or mis-using the sock puppet but if he got away with it, it shouldn’t be on him but the show for allowing it. I don’t hate him for doing that, I would be more bothered by BB allowing it. I think this season has surpassed others in production “tweaking” for tv purposes. It’s always been part of the game, and AGproduction doesn’t really try to hide that fact but this season seems really more so that previous, either that or these HG’s talk about it more where others kept it hidden better. I’m not sure which. Either way, I am a fan of the game and a fan of the show and knowing that some “pushing” or “manipulation” is added for effect doesn’t change that fact. Sometimes how the HG’s deal with that is as much fun to watch too. Let’s remember that week1, production tried so hard to talk Hayden into NOT nominating Annie that it actually tipped him off as to her sabatour status. He could have following their pressure and not nominated her, but ultimately these HG’s make their own decisions and that’s an interesting part of the game for me. Those of us that watch Survivor enjoy that Jeff is very much a part of the game in his tribal interviews, I see this as the same thing, BB production has to be viewed as an actual part of the game. It is ultimately “for entertainment purposes” and it would be hard to prove to producers with the highest ratings ever that they are making a mistake in the way that they are doing things.
I hate this season. They all suck and The Brigade think they are the best alliance ever….Excuse me!?!? They’re completely insane for even saying those words. Hayden and Lane compared themselves to Dan and Memphis. Umm no Dan actually played the game. Everyone in this season was so predictable. No one had good game play. They all were too afraid to vote against the house. Yeah Rachel won a few competitions but she wasted her nominations with getting the girls out (catty much?) Enzo is my least favorite player that has ever been on Big Brother he didn’t do shit. I hate him more then I hated Natalie. He relied on everyone else to do his dirty work while he sat back and thought he was the “mastermind”….whatever; Enzo would lose a competition against himself. If he wins this would be worse than when Maggie won Season 6. At this point I would rather Hayden win? Even though I think he is dumber than bricks. I don’t even want to finish watching this season.
I totally agree with you. Rather than watching the final few hours I think I’ll just read the blog. It’s more entertaining than the actual show. I’m sure the final three want the money but in the end all they really want is to be famous when they get home. How pathetic.
This is for Julie Chen directly as well as each of the executive producers I have watched your show BB since season 1 and until now it has been fun and entertaining to see house guests compete. But after watching BB today Wednesday September 8th 2010 I will no longer watch BB or any other program aired by CBS in addition to that I will no longer watch channel 2 which is CBS in Los Angeles. Having said that I know I’m only one person and to lose only one veiwer means nothing to you so I will convince anyone who will listen to do the same which is to not watch bb or any show aired by CBS ever again. If you ask why it is because Enzo cheated and bb did nothing and allowed him to kick Britney out even though he purposefully failed all the challenges. That a shame and a sham that he will win money for breaking bb rules. I am disapointed and as I said earlier I will not watch any more of your shows survivor, amazing race around the world for free etc. Too bad
I’m not going to stop watching Survivor and Amazing Race but I will back you up on not watching BB again. Survivor has been slipping closer to the same edge of typecasting all the younger people like BB does so I hope this season will open other shows up to a more diverse cast. Amazing Race could do without some of the more histrionic personalities it chooses but they are both far superior reality shows than BB.
I just fell IN LOVE with the Bra-gade AND Britney! I so hope they DO get together and go to steamboat and stay in touch! I think Lane and Brit mane a GREAT couple!~ JMO…ps, Kuddos to Julie for staying the course…CANNOT wait for next season! you RAWK!
We need 2 shows a yr for BB…just like survivor does with their show!! Just sayin…
