Lady Gaga will entertain her Little Monsters at a show in Pittsburgh this weekend. So, naturally, the Art Institute of Pittsburgh decided to pay homage to the star in the form of a…dinosaur? (Click here to take a look.) Yeah, you read that right. A T-Rex to be more specific. (Now, all I can think of is THIS. You’re welcome.)
Anyway, Creation Rex, who lives at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh, often chooses his wardrobe in an effort to honor some of the biggest pop culture phenoms of our time, including this Star Wars outfit. (He also carried an Olympic torch during this year’s winter games.) Rex’s newest choice features some Gaga-inspired 13-inch heels, a blonde wig, lipstick, and an illuminated disco stick to boot!
According to his blog (yes, Creation Rex has his own blog!), Rex lost a bet. That’s the only reason he’s sporting this Gaga get-up. Alas, I don’t think Rex has a huge problem with it. To quote Rex, himself: “Even a fearsome predator like me can appreciate a little ‘Rawr rawr ah ah ah.’” Well said, Rex. Well said.

YEAH PITTSBURGH!! I love when my city is feature here. Our city has dino’s all over. We have a Mister Rodgers one etc.. LOVE IT!

Chicago has decorated cows all over the city. Pittsburgh has dinosaurs. Why dinos? It’s an homage to the Carnegie Museum, which has one of the biggest collections of dinosaurs in the world. The decorations keep changing, especially if there’s an event around which to have a theme. The 2008 Super Bowl was one of those events. Silly, but fun. It’s always good for a smile.
Somehow, I think Lady Gaga will reciprocate the honor and wear a T-Rex inspired ensemble at her show in Pittsburgh.
