Modern Family‘s Sofia Vergara just can’t help oozing sexy vibes and suggestive language all the time, and it’s always getting her into trouble! Yesterday before showing up to tape Jimmy Kimmel live, she tweeted “Tonight I’m gonna do Jimmy Kimmel!” and was so embarrassed that people would even take it that way! Then in part 2 of their interview, she insisted “Men have never wanted me to get busy in the kitchen.” But she meant COOKING! “Noooooo ha ha ha ha ha!” She didn’t mean it like that! She’s just so naturally sexual! And get this: Everyone in Colombia has maids, and Sofia Vergara used to be a nerd. Part 2 of their interview is embedded after the jump. READ FULL STORY »

Old Spice Man Isaiah Mustafa gets larger Tyler Perry role
Can’t get enough of the Old Spice Man, Isaiah Mustafa? Neither can Tyler Perry, apparently. Perry had previously cast Mustafa in a small spot in his upcoming film For Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf (just try to say that three times fast!) but today revealed that he’s instead moving the deodorant king-turned-superstar into a lead role in his next installment in his Madea franchise, Madea’s Big Happy Family. Talk about a promotion!
According to Mustafa, the whole thing went from talks to a deal to shooting in just days. Which, in so many ways, mirrors how quick his career in general has taken off — that is to say, insanely fast! Huge buzz over those Old Spice commercials. A film with Jennifer Anniston and Jason Bateman. A talent deal with NBC. Now, this Tyler Perry bump up. Goodness.
A fire that burns this fast could also go out pretty quickly. I suppose we should all take a wait-and-see approach to all of his other projects (I may be jumping the gun with this question!), but wouldn’t a measured assault with Mustafa be more effective than all this, all right now? What do you say, PopWatchers? Agree? Disagree? Sound off below.

Christina Hendricks' uberhottness shrouded by low-key ringer tee when she got 'Undressed' in 1999
The silly stylists had no idea with whom they were dealing. Watching Christina Hendricks star in an entire episode of MTV’s Undressed from 1999 turned out to be less a reminder of how awesome Christina Hendricks is than a rude re-awakening of just how bad MTV’s Undressed was. So bad! I knew it at the time and still marathoned that s*** anyway. There was something compelling about its OTT awfulness. The actors with perfectly symmetrical faces were always different but the laundry room never changed and there was comfort in that. Who knew that the cute redhead who nearly giggled her way out of a ringer tee in the late ’90s would turn out to masterfully lead a Christmas conga line in the mid ’60s? Television is so weird with time, man. Anyway, Part 1 is embedded below. I like to think that the girl who’s really disappointed to see SPOILER ALERT Christina Hendricks making out with some dude is also realizing, dejectedly, “Oh no, I’m wearing a tie-dyed dress.” [Gawker TV]

TV Land goes young by enlisting Ashton Kutcher for 'generational' version of 'Beauty and the Geek'
Image Credit: Jason LaVeris/FilmMagic.comIt’s official: TV Land isn’t just for old people anymore! The burgeoning cable network has greenlit a new reality show from Ashton Kutcher’s production company called Forever Young, which amounts to a competition series featuring pairs of young and old folks who are forced to get to know each other and battle against other young/old duos. They’re literally calling it a “generational” version of Kutcher’s one-time hit Beauty and the Geek and “part reality show, part social experiment.”
The addition of Young to the line-up seems to take TV Land from being almost exclusively an old person’s network (hello, Hot in Cleveland and She’s Got the Look, not to mention all those old-skewing reruns!) to—errrrr, hmmm—maybe we’ll call it a “multi-generational” network? READ FULL STORY »

'Hell's Kitchen' finale recap: All's well that ends well done
Image Credit: Patrick Wymore/FoxIt’s your third anniversary and you and your wife are going out for dinner. You arrive at 8:45 for 8:30 reservations and the maître d’, an oleaginous and well-tailored Belgian, tut-tuts at your tardiness but shows you to your waiting table. You’re a little surprised at the décor: The restaurant is essentially an enormous warehouse filled with cameras and klieg lights. Oh well, you guess that’s just modern dining.
The maître d’ leaves you your menus. For some reason, there appears to be only one option for each course, dependent upon where you are seated. You try to wave him back to ask if there’s some mistake, but you are interrupted by the clang of a dropped pan. There is a silence, as everyone’s eyes, and cameras, shift over to the open kitchen area. And then… READ FULL STORY »
