I will keep watching Mel’s movies. He makes good ones. I heard he is making a Viking movie. I am really looking forward to that.

DiCaprio jumped out of it. However, who cares? Gibson makes movies with unknown actors all the time and the movies turn out amaing.
So what has Mel done that would make him less of a ticket seller than any other male celebrity…nothing. He cheated on his wife, he fathered a child with a crazy lady who used the Sex Card to get her hooks into him, he divorced his wife, he moved on with said crazy lady who spend through his money like it was free flowing water, he got pissed for her spending too much money, after which he was caught up in ugly abusive relationship with crazy lady that was followed by He Said, She Said court matters: He says he tried to stop her from shaking their baby, She says he hit her while she held their baby, he broke one of her teeth, she is grinning big time in photo showing that broken tooth—with no visible black eye, yet a later released photo shows her with black eye. Come on he is a man first and men are attracted to SEX….SEX sells: Date sites on TV with young, barely dressed females encouraging viewers to call and find that special someone, Kim Kardashian baby-sits an infant, in the shower—to promote what, babysitting skills or sex; Angelina trying to out Sex Jen at premiere of Salt in a dressed cut above her thigh that shows off her bony self and on news stands everywhere with stories of her chasing after and bedding co-stars—married, engaged, or female (only Johnny Depp said no to her over sexed thing); Sex and Abusive Relationship sell, look at most music Artists…Eminem’s “Love the Way You Lie”, featuring Rihanna—about Sex and Abusive Relationship, and Things said in Anger….That’s the American Way. So yes, I would and will still go see Mel’s movies—Mel is a Great Actor, Director, and All Round Entertainer…I won’t begrudge him a paycheck because of how he lives his personal life.
Using racist, sexist, homophobic, ageist, religionist terminology in a private conversation doesn’t mean you are racist, sexist homophobic ageist or religionist. It can mean that you are just trying to hurt the person to whom you saying the words.
If someone did to me what Gibson’s baby-mama did to him, I am sure I would be apoplectic too.
Apparently Child Protective Services didn’t think Gibson hit the baby-mama or baby as they found he had a good relationship with the baby and recommended he continue to enjoy custody of the child.
Apparently the Court didn’t believe that Gibson struck the baby-mama holding the baby as it increased his custody from 20% to 40% effective October.
The baby-mama has a long history of using men for money and advancement. The baby-mama has made so many inconsistent claims that her credibility is nil.
This is one person who abhors domestic violence who believes Gibson was set up by someone after his money after he made it clear he wouldn’t be marrying the baby-mama ever.
Count me as looking forward to seeing more Gibson movies in the future.
No Mel movies for me….in fact I am nauseated by the man!
There are millions who would still see a Mel movie. Ofcourse, there will always be those sheep-like few who buy into the drivel spewed out by the gossip media and feel motivated enough to post negative holier-than-thou tirades themselves. It’s bad enough we hardly have any true blue movie stars anymore, we have to tear down the few we have.
Gold digger Oksana played Mel and the tables turned against her for recording and releasing those tapes to use against him. Very low for this gold digger to extort money from Mel. She is a Russian nobody who wanted fame by bedding movie stars and popped out 2 kids. Why she got pregnant with Mel’s kid? For the easy money of child support and she never has to work for a living by popping out kids. What transpired between the Gold digger and Mel is his personal business this does not concern me or anyone else. Too bad the gold digger Oksana couldn’t see this. Mel Gibson is a great director and actor and I will continue to support him and see his movies.
Oh my gosh. Just reading these pages makes you sic. The Gibson hate trai has gone on long enought. Obviously the guy has some problems. MOre like midlife melt down. But that dosent mean we have to condem him because it’s the flavor of the month. I for one could care what some damn cop says he spouted off about jews while drunk. I’ve been drunk and done worse. I regret it, but you have to move on.
And Im sick of hearing about all the things Mel has done. So far, it hasn’t been proven he’s DONE anything. He’s SAID a lot of things. He hasn’t DONE anything much, except show the world a sad, melt down side of a old hero. Mel’s still a hero to me.
MEL, if your reading this, I know a 18 year old kid who used to be in a gang and wants to cop JUST BECAUSE of you you in Leathal Weapon. Well, that and the fact that he knows he’d be good at it. I know you don’t hate black people. Whoppi already stood up for you. But if you can, PLEASE say something, something brief and good and timely, to beat the media at this game of trying to hang you out to dry for being a white non-liberal.
For instance, I think it’d be great if you just went on Good Morning America and spoke candidly how the media was mistaken, and choose your words carefully. Explain that you’re apologetic of the way you sounded on the phone calls, but that it’s (I’d guess) hard to even get there yourself, with all the hype about your “personal” mistakes on the dang t.v. Just be nice and real and calm. The next time your on ANY show, everyone will be thinking it, the elephant in the room. It’d be so great if you jsut walked over to the curtain and said, “You know what, I want to talk about this elephant.” But don’t get rattled. God knows they’re waiting for it. Just be the nicest guy in the world who made a mistake, and the media will pail by comparrison.
I think he will speak in due time. At the moment, there are investigations going on and there are probably gag orders he has to honor.
