edie deserves comedy. she’s flawless and hilarious as nurse jackie.

drama can go to either julianna or connie. both are amazing. although i kinda want julianna to take it to top off the huge year she and her show have had.

Oh, Lead Actress in a Comedy is like choosing children. Can I vote for a four-way tie between Tina, Amy, Lea, and JLD? Please?

  • JN

NO CONTEST: Edie Falco & Julianna Margulies

    • Sarah

      Amen!

  • Dean

Team Amy and Connie! P&R was most improved show of last season and CB (and the rest of the FNL cast) has been ignored WAY too long.

    • Cynthia

      Agreed on both!

  • paige

edie falco is not funny in nurse jackie. i’m goin for Amy Poehler and especially Connie Britton.

  • ugo

honestly, for the comedy category, i will be happy with anyone but lea michele. besides her voice, i dont think she brings anything to glee.

Ur a Dumb Ass!!! Lea Michele is AMAZING!!!! Stop Hating on her Talent…

      • Erin

Just because someone else has a different opinion than you does not make them a dumbass – you dumbass!

Edie and Toni are the most talented acting-wise. Though if we’re voting on funny… I’m leaning towards Tina. Maybe.

I love Lea and think she is great as Rachel Berry. The show would not be the same without the LEAD female. But really the poster has a right to their opinion. They weren’t really rude like have seen so many on the internet.

    • agreed 100%.

Rooting for Amy Poehler and Connie Britton but I think only Pohler has a chance…a evry small one, but a chance. I love Edie Falco but I find Nurse Jackie to be more of a drama with some comedic moments.

Voted for Amy Poehler because nothing cracks me up like Leslie Knope. But I would also be chuffed if Edie Falco won. I absolutely adore Nurse Jackie – the whole cast, not just Falco. And I definitely think it belongs in the comedy section. Come on guys, a comedy doesnt just have to be a sitcom shot in front of a studio audience.

Connie has…no chance, really, but she’s fantastic.

  • Allie

Amy & Connie… If Connie wins this thing, it will give the Emmys some of their credibility back.

  • Sarah El

The only shows I watch with nominations are Glee and Mad Men, but I can’t honestly say I want Lea Michele or January Jones to win.

    • Nikki

ITA. I love both shows and the actresses but I don’t consider neither one to be award worthy at this point.

  • Nick B

Who deserves these awards? Amy Poehler and Glenn Close. As for who will actually win? That’s another story.

  • i think tina fey and juliana margulies will actually win the awards, but my heart thinks that connie britton and edie falco should take it in a cakewalk.

  • Ceballos

Who I want to win: Poehler and Britton

Who I think WILL win: Falco and Marguiles (who has been on a roll).

  • lucy2

My votes would go to Amy and Connie. Both so, so good.

Edie is great as Jackie, but I don’t think of it as a comedic role. But I think Emmy will go to her or Lea.
Julianna will probably win for drama. Like her and TGW, but I like the supporting cast more, and the show, while good, isn’t really groundbreaking TV.

    • Fabian

I hope Amy Poehler wins. Edie Falco’s show is more dramatic than comedic, so I don’t think she should get it this year. I also think that Lea Michele has a great voice but is not nearly as funny as Amy Poehler or Tina Fey.
