Loved his Tim Calhoun character and he plays a perfect sex offender–I loved the one where he went trick or treating. He wears those big glasses they all seem to wear. Hilarious. I think the cast does a good job. At least once a show I laugh at something pretty hard
Actually, I think they have had a few really good episodes this year. And the year before was great! i’m really going to miss the mini-macgruber sketches, will forte had some really funny bits. I always appreciated how he could hold a scene without laughing, especially as a weekend update guest!
His fate on SNL was based on the outcome of “Macgruber” the movie. A humilation. Kristin Wiig didn’t get canned, cause “Knocked Up” and other cute memorable film cameos saved her. Show business is like any other business, Lorne Michaels released the guillotine on Forte’s head when he lost on Macgruber investment. I feel sorry for Ryan Phillipe the most, Macgruber on his resume will set him back a little bit.
Totally agree with you “Uh huh.” on the MacGruber movie comment. It was a terrible bomb. I found Forte funny on SNL until I saw that movie. Its horrible scenes and lack of humor are forever burned in my memory and tarnished Forte’s image as entertaining.

Things change, like it or not. Will was one of my favorites of the current players, but a great talent like that will stay active. He just did a hilarious Ted Turner on Conan. The cast of SNL is probably one of the best in its entire history. I gotta say Kristen Wiig is the funniest woman I have EVER seen. Almost to the point where she eclispes the rest, but that said, Jason is movie star quality ( and excellent on Sunny recently), Andys digital shorts are sureally funny, I go nuts for Whats up with that, Hip-Hop kids, Stephan on Weekend Update ANYTHING with Kristen and that just scratches the surface. Couple things I don’t get, like Bieber and Cyrus playing musical guests. Lorne, are you OK there buddy. Alright a misstep here and there to make sure we’re payin attention, I get it. Keep it comin you guys I actually do wait for Saturday Night Live each and every week
