I have no idea whether the new, Eli Roth-produced horror film The Last Exorcism will be any good. But if the movie, which opens this Friday, is even a quarter as scary as the Chatroulette-themed publicity clip I’ve embedded after the break, then, well, it will be 25 percent as frightening as a very frightening thing.
I’m not going to say much more, as I think that would spoil matters, though I will point out that it contains strong language — and an important lesson about what can happen if you use the Internet to troll for “babes.”
Check it out, and tell us what you think.

‘The Last Exorcism’ trailer: The possessed are always so flexible

If this movie is anything like Roth’s Hostels then count me in. The Last Excorcism trailers look good. I hope it turns out to be an excellent film.
the 1973, The Exorcist, is one of the best movies ever made. I can’t wait for this film!!!
ughm. this was a perfect use of the service. v creative. bravo to the team who pulled that one together
I totally agree! Hilarious and perfect! I will definitely be passing this on to friends.
ugh! when will hollywood learn that exorcism movies suck- except for the one and only one that was good?
I actually thought the Exorcism of Emily Rose was pretty good and from the trailer this is looking fairly scary as well. Eli Roth is pretty good with what he does.
I really liked the Emily Rose movie, too. It scared the heck outta me.
“A Haunting in Connecticut” was also not a bad flick.
The first one was probably the best lol. I hope this movie is good, will be checking it out.
Not sure how good the movie will be, but this is a fantastic idea for viral marketing! Def a great way to generate buzz and interest!
silliness
I went to an early screening last week and I wasn’t impressed. It starts off extremely well – very clever and unexpectedly funny, but it eventually becomes just another clicheed exorcism flick. And the shaky cam was a little too shaky for my taste.
Most of the people in the theater gave bad reviews to the poll takers at the exit.
I saw a sneak preview last week, too, and was also disappointed. It’ pretty good up until the “twist” ending, which really just opens the whole thing up to huge plot holes. I DO wish I had known going into it that there was no CGI, though; the actual posession scenes would have been more impressive if I’d realized it was 100% the actress.
lame
Dumber than dirt.
My brother recommended I would possibly like this web site. He was once entirely right. This post truly made my day. You can not believe just how a lot time I had spent for this information! Thanks!
