She should do more movies like “The Good Girl.” I really liked her in “He’s Just Not That into You.”
I love Jen, I think she’s beautiful, classy, intelligent and down-to-earth. She shouldn’t have to settle & I’m glad she hasn’t. Screw you O’Reilly, get a real job!
Look, Marley would upstage Brad freakin’ Pitt! (or they’d just look hairy together, at least HE would have if he hadn’t shaved). No comparison here. Jen needs to switch (pun TOTALLY intended) from rom-coms to something more heavy fare.
Enough of JA already! She can’t carry a flick, period. She makes too many movies and continues to play Rachel in every one of them. How one dimentional can an actress be? Yeesh. It was her marriage to Brad Pitt that fueled her movie career and made her a target of the tabloids. She needs to go away for awhile to create some mystique. Too much Jen all the time for my taste.

What should she do?
Play a real 41 y/o women with a real job, how about a cop, social worker, or nurse? [Chould have done Mariah’s role on ‘Precious’.
Play a charactor with a different hairstyle.
Go the ‘Monster’ route and play a criminal or poor woman, as C. Theron did.
JA doesn’t have the chops to play anything near “monster”. she can’t stop being herself on camera so you would never buy it even if she were in a fat suit.
JA must be stinking rich because of all her years on Friends, as well as all the residual money she gets from reruns. My totally unsolicited advice would be to start her own production company and start looking for better roles. Take a page from Lucille Ball. Lucille Ball had a mediocre (at best) film career, but she made her legendary name in TV. Her production company was responsible for some of the most iconic shows of the 60s and early 70s (including Star Trek). Not a bad role model, one well worth emulating.
Loved Loved Loved this movie! It was adorable. Not sure why it is getting bad press. Just saw it and the movie theater was packed and everyone gave it a clap at the end….GO JEN AND KEEP IT UP……Don’t listen to all the bad press writers that are trying to discredit comedic talent.
Thank God! Finally an article that recognizes and appreciates Aniston! She IS a good actress. She just chooses movies based on what she wants to play, not what she thinks will make lots of money and win her awards.
Love Jennifer! The Switch will make it’s money! Too bad you can’t say that for the last 3 of Matt Damon’s movie! 4 out of 5 George Clooney or 4 out of 5 last Matthew Mccoughan this is only a question because of the Brangelina circle! Next! Continue to watch the box office….
I saw The Switch because I love Jenn Aniston… and what a great film! It’s more than a romantic comedy… and it’s the kind of movie that really highlights her talent. And yes… thank God for a pro-woman voice… so many have been silenced.
She will never be a movie star – just a less than average actress. I loved her in friends but my life has moved on so much since then and hers is exactly the same!
She is still playing the same character with the same pan expressions and the same hair and makeup! The whole theater laughed out loud on breakup when Vince asks if she has done something different with her hair!
She is one of the highest paid because of money she still gets from friends and some stupid perfume or something but not because she is paid a lot to do a movie. She isn’t worth paying anything for as nobody rushes to see her in a movie – we all know it will suck
She is around so we can allread about how she sleeps around and has slept with each co-star only to have them ALL run away once they spend any time with her!
If she quit making such crappy roles we wouldn’t get to read about how trampy she is while perfecting her off stage role as the victim!
If it weren’t for her bringing up Brad every month and sleeping around and being dumped what would she talk about?
The poor little victim that no man can stand to be around is a lot more fun to read about than any of her movies are to watch!
she bites-the homeliest actress( yes-homely-look at that horse face and that’s WITH plastic surgery already and the constant working out to maintain the body just makes her a butter face) out there that can’t act AT ALL-has 2 facial expressions-fake interested and fake stressed out-how does the writer even compare this dweep to the actress from United States of Tara-HBO doesn’t have Anuston in and edgy new hit series because they know she could NEVER pull it off and would kill whatever show they tried to “Make for her” since all her parts have to be her because she can’t act-she will kill Courtney’s show as well when she squats all over the season premier-just like she hexed Dirt already-that was a great show -Anuston guest stars and right to the trash-she is a virtual Hollywood schlepprock-she follows all the directions to be cool but just looks like a dressed up dweeppy poser-I don’t think there is a cool bone in her body-the only the only thing remotely cool about her is she WAS married to Brad Pitt-that is why she still bases her entire career off of him-otherwise no one would ever care
