I don’t care if these are fake! Chewbacca’s fake, and I still like him. These trick-shot ads — one for European golf and one for shaving products — are still totally fun.
The golf one doesn’t seem fake to me, but I am so jaded I just assume everything is a crass attempt to get me to buy beer or something (it’s working!):
This one of Roger Federer is definitely fake, though:
Whatever, CGI and creative editing have been used for far more nefarious purposes, right, PopWatchers?

LOL at “Chewbacca’s fake, and I still like him.” Amen.
I think both are fake…but Federer’s still awesome.
All I can think of watching that golf one is how that beautiful scenery is being spoiled by a bunch of off the mark golf balls.
Roger Federer’s awesome, fake trick shot or not.
I like the fact they showed so many men trying to hit the gong before one finally did. To me, that proves it is not fake. For Federer to do it twice in a row seems a bit much. If he were that good, he should be able to hit an ace every time he serves.
The 2010 Irish Open was held at the Killarney Golf Club a few weekends ago so I’d say the first video is real.
The golf one is real because what they are advertising is…golf. And because of what Rua said.
The golf shot is 100% real. No trickery at all. Just amazing pro talent taking on a killer challenge. And the next one will be even bolder. And for the record I love Chewbacca too.
I can bet the tennis one is real, I am a tennis player and i’ve seen some of the better junior players I play with hit a small can or bottle on the court with a serve up to 6 times in a row, so if they can do that, I’m sure Federer can do what he did which seems like a smaller distance. I actually bet if he attempted multiple times he’d probably hit it probably 7 or 8 times out of 10
Federer will be again no1, he has pause, and now he is ready to destroy Djokovic and Nadal.
