Image Credit: Karen BallardThe cast of The Expendables — Sylvester Stallone (who also co-wrote and directed), Randy Couture, Steve Austin, Dolph Lundgren, and Terry Crews — may not have been the most obvious fit for the Comic-Con crowd when they visited the mega-convention last month. Their movie isn’t so much designed for spindly geeks (like me) as it is, in the inimitable words of our critic Owen Gleiberman, “a real meathead jamboree.” But when I sat down with them at our EW.com studio in the Hard Rock Hotel San Diego, they could not have been more charming and easy to talk to. We discussed what it’s like to get a call from “Sly” Stallone, talked about the friendly competition over who was the most stacked, and noted what they geek out about in pop-culture. Started to go to the Julia Roberts film and ended up at the Expendables. What a great 2 hours. Was on the edge of my seat the whole time.
Look while these guys appear to be in good shape they are now looking their age and a lot of people have no interest in seeing old guys trying to be in action films reliving their youth- sorry
Real men never get old. I think young people have been so whitewashed with flighty little hipsters guys, that they forget that men can be manly, and that a little testosterone is good, not just in a movie, but in life. Not every woman is turned on by little boys with flippy hair, you keep Robert Pattinson, I’ll keep Jason Statham… and all he has to offer.

Christina Hendricks is the most stacked, unless that word has suddenly changed meaning in the last few years.
I so can’t wait for 20 somethings to hit their 30′s then they can be slammed for being um “old”!!! I’ll take Jason Statham any day over the so called “spoiled brat actors” around in movies nowadays. These guys are great always have been and always will be.
