First, last week’s Monty Python homage; now, a 10-second claymation ad (embedded below). I love Conan and look forward to the new show, so instead of “boring” or ”silly” I’ll just say it’s “cute.” Aww, he’s clay.
I can’t promose I’ll be as gracious if a 10-second Lego version pops up in the next 72 hours.

I really hope they don’t over do these Conan ads… TBS as a network is bad already, they better not ruin Conesy too.
Could be worse. USA runs the same promo for their shows over and over, every single break from every single program. gets very annoying. “Yes I know there is a new White Collar next Tuesday, but if you keep running the same ad, i may not want to watch anymore”
TNT likes to plan 60 to 61 days for their summer run dramas. They started as early as the NBA Playoffs in April to announce their June 20 and 22nd shows like Leverage and Memphis Beat and slick graphics and Matrix style effects with the actors in the ads. That early planning helps to give them the strong ratings they get every summer.
At least they are short ads, I hope they stay like that too.

I like Conan O’Brien but these shows are becoming boring. Yup, Leno & Letterman too.
I never cared about Conan but now I can’t stand him. He’s way over-hyped.

Sorry, but how could something 10 seconds long be “boring” to ANYONE? When I saw the clip I just shrugged, indifferently, because yes, the clip is just “there,” but to call it boring is to insult your own attention span.
There f’ing commercials, what is so bad about them? Any way, are they using animations of Conan because of his contract with NBC, or are they just using animations?
There’s a reason they’re doing claymation. Conan can’t appear anywhere at all until September due to his exit contract with NBC.
