I still want Bret Michaels for a judge. I think he would be great. When I saw him in concert a few weeks ago, he said to the audience how honored he was to be asked and he wants to be a judge very badly. NOOOOOOOOO to Jennifer Lopez. Yucko.

Bret Michaels brought nothing to the table as a judge on Nashville Star and made inappropriate comments. He has a sleazy past [Rock of Love] and knows nothing about sustaining a successful career in music. He is a has been trashy hair band rocker who plays the nostalgia circuit. And, he will do almost anything to be on camera. NO!

This will be the last season of American Idol. The only reason to watch was Simon, and think about it, how many true “Idols” were successful, maybe 2?

I blame it on the workers and on the judges. Hopefully the new judges next season will give excellent advice on how to get amazing success.

Uh, what does “true Idol” even mean? Kelly Clarkson, Carrie Underwood, Daughtry, Jennifer Hudson and Clay Aiken have had been very successful in their chosen careers (music, movies, theatre…). So your “maybe 2″ has just be thrown out of the window.

Jamie Fox is Not a “d-bag” – he would be great! Just PLEASE – no J- Lo. No one cares if the rumor is true or not about her “demands” – the fact remains that it sounds like her – she’s higmh maintenance – not judge sexy.

the show sucks and so do the prescreening judges

    • Brittany

AMEN SISTER! It’s ridiculous! What do they want? Nasaly singers now? *sigh*

  • Brittany

I was at the NJ auditions as a guest and heard so many amazing people singing and NONE of them moved on. Beautiful voices that would melt your heart. This show isnt about talent anymore. It’s about ratings. *sigh* So sad. This show has run it’s course. Just end it already!

AI, ASK KATY PERRY TO BE A JUDGE. SHE IS A VERY UNIQUE AND FANTASTIC ENTERTAINER, SHE HAS THE SKILLS. AND KATY HAS A GREAT PERSONALITY, I THOUGHT SHE DID GREAT WHEN SHE WAS A HOST FOR THE TEEN CHOICE AWARDS, AND SHE WAS A GREAT GUEST JUDGE DURING AUDITIONS.

Simon is the one judge who will be the most difficult to replace. His opinion of each performer was really the only one viewers wanted to hear.

    Steven Tyler? WHYYY?!!!

  • nitro

I would tune in if the judges were Maggie Griffin, Rip Taylor and Betty White. It’s really about the contestants.

  • gwat

    bring Paula Abdul back

  • Glen

It should be Randy Jackson, Richard Simmons (which would be awesome – him sitting there asking Randy “will you go to a broadway show with me?? I thought we were friends…HAIII RYAN…” all in those crazy shorts…

and Joni Mitchell – who can be a drepressing bore and make the contesants cry…

    JONI BE NICE>>>>>>>>HAIII EVERYOBODY

Lets face it. It’s not so much what the judges are saying but how they are presenting it. In other words their personality is what sells this show. So lets say they keep Randy and Karla. Your going to need someone really really big to replace Simon. My vote goes to Ozzy. Think about it. his reality show was a sleeper. Than People discovered Ozzy and they couldn’t get enough of him. Every week they would tune in just to hear what he had to say. Plus you have to respect his music back ground. Next would be the Shock jock. Howard S. Another A.I. saver. Of course you can always get Paula back. She speaks for her self. Great cat fights between she and Kara. And last but not least. Simon. Double his salary and beg for him to come back. People love to hate a guy like that.

    My ideal judging panel
Whitney Houston, Howard Stern, Harry Conick Jr., and Shania Twain
