She looks fantastic and so much more mature. You have to have a strong face to pull off such a severe haircut and she does it fabulously. Good for her for cutting ties with the past and embracing a new Potter-free career ahead of her!

I hate people with rigid, conventional definitions of beauty. There’s nothing wrong with a woman liking short hair. Yes, she looks different. And she’s still beautiful even if she doesn’t match your ideal.
Um….beauty IS in the eye of the beholder. So if people don’t like how she looks in this new hairstyle, she is by definition no longer beautiful (in their perception). Your own emotional perception does not mean everyone has to agree with you.

She’s gorgeous no matter what length her hair is. IMO this style really brings out her eyes. This style definitely leaves Hermione behind. Go, Emma!
I think she looks cute. For 10 years she had to same haircut and now she finally has a say in how she wants it. Good for her! As long as she likes it is all that matters.
I think what bothers me most about this cut is that it’s so obviously done to separate herself from the character of Hermione. Out of all the actors, Watson has always struck me as the one who’s the least interested in being associated with Harry Potter. Daniel Radcliffe and Rupert Grint will actually use their TALENT to move on past Potter.

I agree, she’s the one always missing. My fav is rupert, he can actually give life to Ron. He’s exactly as I imagine Ron from the books.
I like it. I couldn’t imagine going 10 years with the same haircut!
I did the same thing senior year of high school just before graduation. It felt awesome! She looks great and I much prefer this kind of rebellion to the path that other young actresses take (I’m looking at you Lohan).
You don’t have to look like a disgusting lesbian in order to make a fasshion statement.
