Once upon a time, small children jerked their Nintendo controllers to and fro in an attempt to make the wee plumber jump further or higher. We leaned over to slide under things; we pulled the controller closer to our bodies to navigate treacherous, icy terrain.
But now it’s the future, and some enterprising engineers have reworked an NES so they can control Mario with their eyes.
Will I ever pick my jaw up off the floor, PopWatchers?

the cartridge and title screen said super mario bros. 2…..but the gameplay was from mario 1..shenanigans!
You’ll only get it off the floor with the help of some enterprising engineers and their eyes.
“You mean you have to use your hands?”
“That’s like a baby’s toy!”
Memory may be failing here, but I thought to jump you had to push a button… not just push up on the controller. (Am I wrong?) If so, did they program an “up” eye movement to correspond with a button push, or is this not really what’s going on here…
Obese children are so happy about this.
I call shenanigans! The “scientist” in the beginning is wearing khaki shorts and a lab coat! Really?! There is probably some guy off camera actually playing the game.
Hi Margaret! Here’s my suggestion for the next “Clip du jour” — http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OAc6yv5_dd0
