Let me just make sure I’m getting this right. It’s Cher and Christina Aguilera (not to mention Kristen Bell and DWTS‘s Julianne Hough), decked out in insanely over-the-top costumes, dancing and singing and backstabbing and applying each other’s makeup in a movie about a little girl with a big voice and even bigger… ahem, dreams? There’s only one possible explanation: Someone waited for gay glitter guru Bob Mackie to fall asleep, then broke into his dreams Inception-style and lifted the entire, fully-formed movie directly out of his subconscious. Looks like a low-rent Chicago. I get that it’s camp, but Christina looks seriously stiff and the story is something that has been done countless times. Poor Stanley Tucci.
this movie actually looks pretty good. the cast is pretty talented, and I’m hoping Christina Aguilerra can pull it off! i’m definitely looking forward to this movie now!

xtinas album flopped because she is still trying to oversex everything when all she has to really do is just sing. shes trying to outdo ten years ago britney but we have all moved on.
I disagree. To quote Scissor Sisters, “You can’t t!ts on the radio.” I don’t think it was sex image. She was bashed by a hi profile blogger that preaches heavily to listener set, the gays and girls. I hate to say it, but Perez has power even if he is a vile creep.
I have to see this! Cher and Christina wear enough makeup to make Ronald McDonald think about a career change.
