Terry O'Quinn signs on for Lifetime movie

Terry-O-QuinnImage Credit: Insidefoto/PR PhotosDid Emmy winner Terry O’Quinn prove himself such an interesting actor on Lost that fans will follow him anywhere? Like to Lifetime? The network confirms that he’s set to star in the upcoming true story Taken From Me: The Tiffany Rubin Story with Oscar nominee Taraji P. Henson (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button). You’re breathing easier already, right? He’ll play Mark Miller, the founder of the American Association for Lost Children, a nonprofit organization founded in 1987 that physically searches for and recovers missing children at no cost to the parents. Henson is Rubin, a woman who traveled to South Korea with the help of AAFLC to rescue her 6-year-old son, Kobe, after he was kidnapped by his biological father from their Queens, N.Y., home. These sounds like meaty, meaningful roles for both of them. Here’s hoping the writing and supporting cast are as good as they are.

Is O’Quinn an actor you’ll watch in anything?

I think he should be cast as the Vulture in the new spider-man movie.
I would follow him there, not to this piece of Lifetime schlock

I want to yell “NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO”, but that Georgia O’Keeffe biopic was supposed to be surprisingly good, so that gives me hope.

I know Lifetime has gotten a slight makeover in recent years (people like “Drop Dead Diva” and, as Madd mentioned, the O’Keeffe biopic got really got notices), but…

The headline “Terry O’Quinn signs on for Lifetime movie” still makes me want to die inside.

At least he’s playing the founder of the “American Association for Lost Children”, which hopefully means he’ll be able to locate Walt, Ji Yeon and all the tail section kids.

      …and Aaron, of course.

    • Carlitos

Dude, you made my day. +82382 for that.

Not a fan of lifetime movies but I do like both those performers. Hope it turns out well for them!

Didn’t Terry do a Lifetime movie where he married an woman, only to have her sleep with his son?

  • DavidJ

I would normally avoid something like this like the plague… but knowing O’Quinn is involved I might just check it out.

I will follow him anywhere. Even to Lifetime. Ugh.

Oh, the humanity! This man should headline his own freaking cable show. Somebody make that happen.

They should at least make him the slimy “villain” in the next season of ‘Damages’ (I use the quotes in because in that show nobody is actually a hero).

Is Julie Chen going to be in this too? She’s everywhere now days! She’s like the Zach Galifiankis of hot Asian ladies.

Terry O’ Quinn’s agent really didn’t want him to do this movie, but then O’Quinn was all, “do NOT tell me what I can’t do!”

okay…you just made me laugh out loud!

Good for him. His career really died off after his stellar performance in Old School..maybe this is just the kinda job he needs to get back on his feet ;)

Apparently, yes, Terry O’Quinn is an actor I will follow anywhere. God help me.

  • izikavazo

Nope, I love me some Lost, but I can’t handly Lifetime smarminess.

  • meghan

Yes, Lifetime has produced some serious cheese. They have also produced some really good films. Judging by the subject matter and the two lead actors, I’m confident that this movie will fall in the latter category.

I will definitely follow Terry O’Quinn to lifetime. However, that man seriously needs a TV series. His acting is brilliant and he can play heroes and villains equally.
