Vince Vaughn in talks for David O. Russell film. Who should play his daughter?

Vince-VaughnImage Credit: Janet Mayer/PR PhotosVince Vaughn is reportedly in talks to star in David O. Russell’s next film, Old St. Louis, according to Deadline. The movie, which Russell also wrote, is about a traveling salesman who reconnects with his young daughter. Kick-Ass star ChloĆ« Moretz, soon to be seen in October’s Let Me In, is rumored to be in consideration for the daughter role.

Nothing, however, is decided yet, so let’s have some fun here: Who else would you want to see play opposite Vaughn, PopWatchers? Is Moretz the best choice? Though they don’t quite look blood related, I’m gonna suggest Elle Fanning, who stars in December’s Sofia Coppola flick Somewhere (watch the awesome trailer after the jump). Those Fanning gals are awfully talented.

    A) terrible picture of Vince
    B) Elle Fanning is adorable and I loved her in Phoebe’s Wonderland.
    C) It saddens me that I don’t know more young actresses to add to the discussion.

Chloe Moretz definitely got offered the role of Vince’s daughter. She wanted to do the role but her dates did not work out since she is in London filming Hugo Cabret for Martin Scorsese. She was their choice.

  • I love chloe

Chloe Moretz is the best child actor in the business. Too bad she couldn’t work the dates out. I want to see more of her.
