Meryl Streep and Tina Fey will indeed star together in a Stanley Tucci movie. Yes, please.

Mommy-and-MeImage Credit: Insidefoto/PR Photos; Sylvain Gaboury/PR Photos (2)There are a few things that sends my Awesome-o-meter off the charts. The upcoming meeting of Willis, Schwarzenegger, and Stallone in The Expendables. A monkey riding a horse. This photo. And now the prospect of Meryl Streep, Tina Fey, and Stanley Tucci working together. Yes, that’s right — The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed talk that the two actresses are set to star together in the Tucci-directed comedy Mommy & Me.

Sure, it’s a softer, gentler trio than the Expendables group, but I think it could be equally exciting. The title leaves a little to be desired — strangely, it just makes me think of this — but what do you think, PopWatchers? Interested to see Fey and Streep share the screen?

I want to see a Julia and Paul Child movie with Meryl and Stanley reprising their roles. After seeing “Julie & Julia,” it was clear that it should just have been “Julia.”

Agreed. The “Julie” part of the movie was dullsville.

Anytime there’s a new Meryl Streep movie, it’s a cause for joy. Now WHEN is she coming back to Broadway?? I need to see her act live.

Who cares about Streep and Fey… Stanley Tucci is directed another movie! I love his movies (especially ‘The Imposters’). I hope the rest of his crew will be in there!

I don’t think “photo” means what you think it does.
