Uh, erewhile…I am not a PR “summer intern” as you put it. I am a 39.999 year old male who remembers the FIRST Tron when it came out, and back then, THAT was cutting-edge computer technology. With the 21st century computer CGI graphics, *this* Tron is VERY promising. You need to go watch the first one, then come back and compare…
I have got to see this movie!
GAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH I’m so excited!!!! I have an unabashed obsession with the original TRON. Plus, Daft Punk!
Awesome! Even better than the first trailer. I’m diggin’ the Clu 2 CGI Jeff Bridges. Creepy. Gonna have to go watch the original again. December can’t come soon enough!
Big fan of the original. Talk about ahead of it’s time-many people didn’t get it. Now they do. The trailer looks very good. Let’s hope ‘Legacy’ measures up…
So can’t wait for December! This is my must see movie of the year.
I think I just died of extreme happiness.
I could see the merits of this film in 3D…maybe December will make up for the crappy summer.
I was a little concerned at first, but I gotta say, I’m geeking out big time after seeing this!! To heck with the summer movie season, bring on Tron!
Oh look. All the haterz from Avatar have surfaced yet again. How pathetic.
I am SO there ! ! !
Can…Not…Wait!!!!!!!
Only 5 or so days late on your post.
Saw the original three times in theaters in its first run. Always hoped for a sequel, but gave up years ago. Now I’m in geek heaven.
I’d strongly advise anyone who hasn’t seen the original to do so before seeing this — it’ll explain a lot of the references that will otherwise likely be missed. Plus it’s still fun, even after all these years!
Olivia Wilde, with two disk weapon thingies, effortlessly subdues two big bad guys without even looking – how ridiculous is that?
