You know I was really more a fan of Laguna Beach rather than The Hills or maybe I should say I am a Kristin Cavallari fan. I think Lauren Conrad was dull. Was this show fake? Was it real? I don’t care! For a few years it was entertaining and thats all that matters to me!! XOXO

    Great ending!

Ending was brilliant. A great, big pinch in the butt to the viewers. Brilliant.

    dudes.
F YOU ALL! stfu, it was a tv show. you dont base your life off of television shows and if you do youre never going to get what you expect.
all of the show WAS NOT fake, obviouslyyyy a large portion of it was but you cant call bs on all of it. i watched it, almost every single episode and i friggin loved it because it was good tv. this show was basically every young adults life made a whole lot more dramatic.

be it real or fake, it was good tv and thats all that should matter. whether or not these peoples lives are this insane is none of anyones business. take it for what it is; television.

Being a viewer having watched most of Laguna Beach and all of The Hills, the finale was like, “Dude, wtf!” I laughed because I was kept thinking that I was crazy for falling for the hype. For fans who were disappointed (sucks for them), but I guess they were only hurt because the term ‘reality show’ threw them off. It threw most of us off. Reality shows is just a term to describe the featured stars (using their REAL names), and are mostly used as a stepping stone in an entertainment career. I mean I thought the series was pretty sketchy throughout its entirety, but it’s no different than getting hooked into a movie or TV sitcom. I think the media should do a better job defining the term ‘reality show’. Overall, the ending sucked and it felt like they needed something for the last 30 minutes. Let’s interview the producer/creator to find out his true (and maybe artistic) intentions behind the meaning of the finale! lol

real or fake – it kept me entertained for years – and that’s what TV shows are made to do. NOW, MTV now that The Hills are done with, how about you bring back those music videos, other than only playing them at a ridiculous time in the morning. KTHNX.

what i find hilarious is that nobody cares that there are soap operas like days of our lives scripted with a person who will just not die and the stories written for it are awful with equally bad acting, or general hospital or even passions – which thank god was canceled. nobody cracks on these shows but because it’s MTV it’s easy to crack on laguna beach or the hills when in reality they are just another soap opera casted and scripted for a younger generation. what’s the harm in that?
