Matthew Goode would be a great choice. Or Zachary Quinto

  • Chris

Why are so many of you suggesting TV actors?

    • Ralph

These days I don’t know that it matters necessarily. Movie actors are moving into TV, TV actors move into film. I think people are looking for recognizable people who they like. Besides, Matthew Fox has done film. Zachary Quinto has as well. I think making a distinction between “film actors” and “tv actors” is a bit pretentious, especially when you are talking about an action movie, not a period drama piece or some such.

    Adrian Brody?

    • therealeverton

      Not bad at all.

  • Amanda

I LOVE this idea of Foxy playing The Hulk/Bruce!!!

  • briana

It’s like a light from heaven shined upon my computer when I read this. Fox would be brilliant

  • Jake

Since Joss Whedon is directing the film, I think we missed out on a Nathan Fillion Captain America

  • ObiHave

They should get on their knees and beg Norton to come back or just use CGI. I can’t believe they could just throw someone of his caliber away.
He’s probably looking at Nathan Fillion, who I like, but that’s no reason to screw Ed.

  • Jake

Matthew Fox for Banner is a good idea, though

I never liked the idea of a CGI Hulk.Lou Ferrigno was great in the old series. How about a green Brock Lesnar as the Hulk?

    • therealeverton

Well except he was far too small and had virtually none of the Hulk’s superpowers. Other than being green and a bit stronger than a WWE wrestler. Sure he was cool but CG is the only think that works for a character of that size and power. Painting someone green and THEN using CG to make him seem twice as big would look a lot worse.

    • Ralph

Also, if you are going in that direction, then you would have to cast 2 people because you can’t have Brock Lesner playing Bruce Banner. I don’t necessarily know that you can’t have a live action person playing the Hulk. All CGI does is add size. The rest of the powers could be handled by the wonderful world of special effects. Besides, I always thought the movie Hulks were too big. Size wize, the Hulk is a very tall (about 7 ft tall or a little bigger), very muscular man. Not a 12 foot tall creature.

  • Michelle

I would watch Matthew Fox clean gutters in the rain.

  • Rip

    Mel Gibson.

  • chris

they should stick to one guy to be the Hulk…… in every dame movie theres a different one?? Choose one already!!!

  • trellpell

Leo DiCaprio.. I think it would heighten excitement for the movie a ton and put a serious actor in the Hulk’s shoes.. Especially if he was playing the villain

  • JR Jale

How bout Pee Wee Herman? Freaky and frightening is his mantra. Don’t know what the box office receipts might be, but I most certainly wouldn’t mind seeing that.

I say we start a petition for Norton to be put back on the project. For once an actor wants to put in his all for this role;something years ago people would skulk at because it was comic book character. Way to pull a DC/Batman. 3 Hulks in as many movies. Get it straight..Bring Norton Back!
