The pleasantries are over and the game is on. We’ve got our first serious alliance, known as “The Brigade,” which is comprised of The Beast (Lane), The Animal (Hayden), The Brains (Matt), and, inexplicably, Meow Meow (Enzo). How long before Matt’s claim that they’re “the strongest alliance in Big Brother history” comes back to haunt him? I give it two weeks. (SPOILER ALERT: Stop here if you haven’t seen the episode and don’t want to know anything about what happened.)
Meanwhile, HOH Hayden decided to nominate the combustible couple Brendon and Rachel for eviction. Not a bad move, I must admit. Brendon, aside from being somewhat obsessed with brushing his teeth (who thinks of that during a blackout?), is a tough competitor unafraid of baring his butt (damn you, blurring machine!) in a pit of caramel to get a challenge done. On the opposite end of that spectrum has got to be Kathy, who simply lay in the sticky situation for 20 minutes waiting to be rescued into a week of slop and cold showers. To make matters worse, I thought she was going to burst out crying when she saw she’d be sleeping with some little bugs. Yes, they’re gross, but you’re a cop! Would any of you want Kathy guarding your city? Why does Enzo wear sunglasses indoors? Should Brendon go home? And do you love Ragan half as much as I already do? Discuss!
the various blogs around the Net have people hating on Annie…why? I don’t see anything wrong or annoying about her.

We now have the first lame alliance of the season, the Brigade. And Enzo is the brains??? This will be the most powerful alliance in BB history.?? Hahahahaha hahahahahhahahahhahahahaah. This alliance will last all of 2 weeks before that punk Enzo goes running to another alliance and sells out every member of the Brigade!
what’s up with the Meow Meow nickname, anyway? i’m sure he had to explain it to his posse. BB should have included that in the episode. Meow meow…seriously??
Enzo is the brains? I agree. I laughed my *ss off at this idiot thinking he’s the brains. “The Brigade”? Obviously this idiot doesn’t know what that means. And the stupid knicknames? Don’t even get me started on that. Annie is very annoying.

I like Annie, but I haven’t seen the live feeds so I only “know” her from the 2 episodes so far. She comes across as smart and thoughtful, 2 things you don’t normally see on BB. Maybe that’s why some people don’t like her?
Watch the feeds or after dark. She’s a spaz. Already over analyzing and talking strategy 90 miles a minute with every person in the house every chance she gets. Her stupid strategy backfired horribly.
Apparently she is seen as someone who is making alliances with everyone and sharing everything with people, but she claims she’s just trying to be friendly and get to know everyone.
If you watched the live feeds you might not like her as much as what they show you on CBS. Plus she is on the short list of 5 people who could possibly be the Saboteur.
I’ll bet $1.27 that Cathy is the Saboteur. I’ll take credit for it too, although it was my wife who pointed it out on the first episode.
I’ve thought the saboteur was Kathy since the first episode when she couldn’t hold onto the hot dog. And then to sit there in the caramel for 20 minutes. That is throwing a challenge big time.
You would have to watch the feeds to know why. I definitely think she’s the saboteur too. If you read the spoiler sites like hamsterwatch.com you know WHY I think she’s the saboteur…. also, she’s really a blonde and the producers made her dye her hair for BB because they already had Kathy and Britney.
Her “coming out” to Ragan felt manipulative and disingenuous to me. First she’s telling us all how she’s bi and attracted to half the people in the house, then she tearfully pulls him aside to “confess” she’s in love with a woman and oh, she just haaaad to share it with him. Big agenda behind that, and it made me mad when he was sweet and comforting in response to her manipulation.
Please. She’s already told half the house. “I’m not telling people” lasted a whole week.
On BBAD (Showtime) Annie comes off as whiner.

She deserves at least a little credit. Did you notice all the bruises all over her arms from the challenge? She is clearly not in good physical shape. She needs to be hitting the treadmill and the weights while she is in the house!
not quite sure how caramel (no matter how sticky) and popcorn can cause that much bruising. If she isn’t the saboteur then there is some town who must be very scared for their safety. and needs a new sheriff.

Kathy is a cancer survivor. It’s likely the bruises are from receiving chemotherapy.

Kathy could very well be the saboteur. She has been abysmal in both challenges so far. C’mon, she really couldn’t pull herself out of the caramel? She was the one that threw out the notion that the saboteur was a woman to “throw people off the sent”. She is a real life Barney Fife. And then “X”‘d herself out to make herself a target. Not buying it dummy.
Mensa boy better figure it out two time quick. Do alliances this early, ever stay the course? They will get paranoid and start cannibalizing each other.

I think Kathy is the saboteur. She was horrible at both the challenges, and after rewatching the scene where the lights go off, I don’t see her on the couches. And then she started calling out Andrew, saying that he was behind the couch and w/e, basically placing the blame on him. Plus, you’d think the mole would be a guy, and not a sweet and innocent female. It all makes sense!
I don’t know about Kathy being the saboteur. The purpose is to be sneaky about it and not get caught. I think just plain giving up on your team is a little too obvious. I think she just didn’t want to do the chanllenge. If she is the one, she’s the worst saboteur ever and will get voted out with the quickness.
I guess so, but the houseguests mainly think that either Andrew or Brendon is the saboteur, so I guess she’s not being obvious to them, just to us viewers. We’ll see though! I’m excited to find out.

That shape and voice doesn’t have to be the saboteur actually speaking. It could be a producer. Who knows? I wouldn’t go by that to try to figure out who it is.
And people who do have a Southern drawl can fake other accents, too. I’ve never been able to figure out why people think changing accents or handwriting is supposed to be so difficult.

Of one thing you can be certain: the suspects that they showed you in the first episode are NOT the saboteur. So you can cross Brendon and Andrew off your list.

Definitely Kristen. She was the person I immediately thought when they announced the whole thing because it seemed like her “surprise” was fake.
i think its kristen also for the simple fact that they didnt show her until she was safe from the block. shes being too quiet. and i dont recall her name being called when people were up in the hoh room discussing who they remember were sitting on the couches. they just mentioned annie for some reason. brendon, kathy and andrew are all too obvious unless they are messing up big time.

I don’t get what’s so bad about Annie either – I like her.
This isn’t Survivor, where you’re stuck with a person who’s lousy at challenges on your team. It’s actually an advantage in BB to have someone in the house who is bad at challenges.
That’s not true in terms of Have/Have Not and food competitions. HOH comps., until the end, are either questions or BARELY physical (like bocce type games). At this point someone bad at challenges is more of a hindrance. If they’re so bad, then they can’t win later anyway and you can get rid of them then.
You’re not understanding me, Jason. You’re not stuck with the person who’s bad at challenges all the time, because the teams change up. So while it is a disadvantage if you are on that person’s team, it is an advantage if you are not on that person’s team – and at this point, when they are picking 3 teams, there is a 2/3 chance the one lousy at a challenge will NOT be on your team.
I think Kristen is the saboteur. It’s all in the editing, for maximum surprise on Wednesday; Anytime they show diary room footage of someone suspecting anyone – it’s not gonna be them.
So, Kathy, Brendon, Andrew, Lane, are ruled out.
I’ve noticed that also. I’ve completely ruled out Andrew (his reaction to the Xs when no one was there, and his volunteering for the wiener costume show it’s not him) and Ragan (just really don’t think it’s him). My gut is saying it’s not Annie, Rachel, Brendon, Enzo, Lane, or Hayden. My best guess is either Kristin or Matt – Kristin is almost never shown so prime suspect, and Matt would be a great choice being smart. Plus, EVERY action he’s made, every word he’s said (and I’ve watched some on Sho2) seem like things a saboteur trying to deflect would say – watch him as though you knew he was the sab. and it DOES seem like it could be him. Kathy COULD be, but I doubt it. I’m undecided on Monet and Brittany.

Bunky from Season 2 was a very quiet, sensitive gay man. He is one of the many reasons why S2 is still the best season of Big Brother to date (with All Stars close behind).
How do you not understand what happened between Annie and Ragan? Annie is insecure about how people perceive her bisexuality. She wanted to talk to Ragan because he understands what it’s like. Pretty straightforward.
all stars was one of the worst big brother seasons! They need to pick better gays, too! Bunky was okay, but he kind of sucked in the end and always was crying. Neil from the Couple BB was probably the best gay; handsome, fit, seemed smart, not a charicature. Ragan is so irritating.
But Annie told Ragan that she was in a relationship w/ her girlfriend for 1 1/2 years and that she’s not ashamed of it. So which is it, is she insecure about it or isn’t she?????

Annie just kept her sexuality to herself at first for strategic reasons. I don’t recall her saying she was insecure about it. I think she just wanted to let the gay guy know. But I don’t get how being told she was bi was a gift to Ragan.
