What one-sentence press release would you have issued about the show? Having seen the pilot, which I enjoyed, I would have gone with, “You only have to wait 29 mins. and 53 secs. to see Alex O’Loughlin shirtless.”
“It’ll be weird seeing ‘Lost’ cast members on other shows, but you might as well get used to it.”

It’s a shame that CBS has to tell everyone it’s a zero, not the letter “O”; but that’s what happens when the entire world has become illiterate and relies on ghetto terminology………
Jeez, you seriously have to get off it. Calling zero an “O” for shorthand is nothing new, and pretty much everyone knows exactly what you mean when you say “My phone number is nine-O-three” etc.
Oh, and I think I’d argue that the world is becoming increasingly literate compared to, oh (or “O”), I don’t know, the beginning of time?

I’ve seen “Hawaii Five-O.” I loved “Hawaii Five-O.” And this is no “Hawaii Five-O.” O’Laughlin needs to be in a suit and his hair must have the incredible and impenetrable qualities that Jack Lord’s coif had in the original. Otherwise, he’s no McGarrett.

It was NEVER Five-(letter)O! The name reflects Hawaii being the 50th state!
Why are they coming out with this? People are saying five-oh because the ORIGINAL series pronounced it five-oh.
I think it’s not a matter of how people were pronouncing it but how journalists were spelling it. Just look at 90210 it isn’t pronounced nine-zero-two-one-zero
