Yesterday, director Edgar Wright recommended via Tweet that people watch the German trailer of his new movie Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, which opens Aug. 13. I’m glad I followed his advice. It’s the same as the English language international trailer but the fact that everyone’s talking in the language of Goethe — not to mention the Scorpions — somehow adds yet another dimension of craziness to this already insane clip for Wright’s superhero-rock-movie-rom-com. Also? I now know the German word for “lesbian.” And, for that matter, “lesbians.”
