Newly released clips from Predators are satisfying not because they show Adrien Brody shirtless (they don’t, why will no one listen to me?!), but because Brody’s dialogue is exactly what you want it to be if you’re planning on seeing this movie. Take the first clip below, in which he explains that he and his fellow human badasses have just been stalked, separated, and studied like game. “How do you know this?” he’s asked. And in the pause before he answered, I literally recited his line for him: “Because, that’s what I would do.” Additional clips follow, including one that shows Laurence Fishburne is more than the person you don’t f— with.

In the second clip (the one where Brody wakes up in the jungle after crashing), I was half-expecting/hoping he’d do so with a tight close up on his eye opening. (Yeah, I know “Lost” is over, but still…)
When I first heard that the Predator movie will star Adrien Brody and Topher Grace, I thought WTF? But I think I will be pleasantly surprised. Can’t wait to see it.
Brody seems to be taking post-Oscar career advice from Mira Sorvino.

This movie won’t feature a scene with all the shirtless soldiers pull down a tree.
gah, trailer three woulda been cooler to see in the movie. But I guess that’s hard to keep under wraps.
