Scream as loud as you can, PopWatchers. EW has confirmed that the trailer for Paranormal Activity 2 is debuting tonight, just two hours from now. It’s playing in theaters with The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, but if you’re not a Twihard, never fear. The PA2 trailer will also be available online at midnight tonight EST (9 p.m. PST) on www.ParanormalMovie.com. Be sure to check back here at midnight EST to get our take on the hot-off-the-presses trailer for the movie, which is currently in production and scheduled to hit theaters in October. Boo! I didn’t even know that they stated filming. Wonder if any Twilight fans are fans of the original aranormal Avtivity?
I saw the first one with my 13-year-old stepsister and her best friend, both of whom loved it but were scared poopless. Both are also complete Twilight nuts. I think it’s safe to say that a lot of Twilight fans liked the original, if only because that age group is usually such a fan of horror films. It kind of comes with the territory.

I resent the idea that just as a girl, it’s assumed I’m a Twihard! Your relief at “not all girls [falling] under the spell of Team Edward/Jacob” shows that you, at least at one time, bought into the idea that all teenage girls have the same interests, and that we’re equally taken in by the romantic crap that is Twilight.
Nice attempt at psychoanalysis, but you could not be more wrong. I CANNOT STAND anything Twilight (all caps for emphasis). I think it gives girls the wrong message about love and having a healthy relationship with a guy. Jane Austen was more ahead of her time than Stephanie Meyers anyday!
The only reason why I said what did earlier is because I find myself in the minority of girls who don’t care for Twilight and that it’s nice to know that I’m not alone. I’m 24 years old and vividly remember being a teenage girl whose world did not revolve around having a boyfriend and it’s nice to know that there are other girls who feel exactly the same way.

Well, we knew they know how to build suspense… but come on.
This just sucks now. But it’s not as horrible as the new title for the next “Final Destination” movie: “5NAL DESTINATION.” That’s 100x’s more FAIL than the site still not having the trailer at 12:08AM

The 4th was so awful. And too short. 2 will always be the best. And even with the promise of a suspension bridge disaster and James Cameron’s right hand man directing it, I still think it will suck if they still cast these awful actors. In 1 and 2 they were credible. In 3, passable. In the last one? WTF?! Awful not even worthy of a bad soap opera on MyNet.

You mean “Scre4m” LOL… I have hope since it seems Williamson got his mojo back. But the casting of Emma Roberts troubles me. She still looks like a 15 year old even though she is 20. And she is not as good as Neve, JLH, or SMG when they were the scream queens of the 90′s. I hope she surprises me. But I still look forward to this movie more than any horror movie on the horizon.
as long as Williamson and Craven are back, and Neve + the Arquettes, i’m in. that was one of the only smart original horror series to ever come out of Hollywood in years, and if they’re gonna invest in another trilogy, i’ll spend $ for tix hands down.

Come on now, that’s kind of low. This is the first of the Twilight movies I didn’t see at a midnight showing, and I like to think I have pretty decent taste in films. I count In the Bedroom, The Big Chill, Secretary, and Atonement amongst my favorites, but I also somewhat enjoy the cheesy melodrama that makes up the Twilight franchise. To each his/her own, I like to say.
