After making a major comeback with her album Circus and massive tour, it was only natural for Britney Spears to capitalize on the recent stream of success. So this week we’ll see the fruits of her labor in a different area — fashion — as she unveils a collection of clothing and accessories for Candie’s, the company for which she serves as current poster girl.
We remember Spears most fondly for her barely there get-up at the VMAs and red leather bodysuits, but Spears’ line is thankfully less costume-y. She tells InStyle.com that a slick black trench coat and studded skirt are among her favorites in the juniors’ collection. Not too shabby, Brit. Personally, I’m digging the gray leather jacket.
The line will be available in Kohl’s stores nationwide beginning Thursday but only for a limited time. Will you be checking it out? And is it safe to say that our 1990s pop princess is back in action?

Too bad those jeans look like the kind that show your butt crack off to the entire world whenever you sit or bend. I’m not saying I want a return to 80s high waist mom jeans, but there has GOT to be a happy medium so that I don’t have to go about my day with unexpected ass jumping out at me because female fashion apparently involves low cut jeans with no belts (or useless belts). Which is related to the also current trend of having no sense of how to wear flattering jeans – I also see a lot of muffin tops, many of which occur on girls who are not even overweight.

The first part of her career she lied about coming from a good family, about saving herself for marriage and about not being addicted to chemicals. You think that her people can’t lie about her not being mentally unstable as well?
Yea she does come from a good family, thhat’s why her dad has been trying to help her. She didn’t lie she just grew up, which u should do tisha. It’s ovious that she is meneally ill, love brit, however she’s not that good of an actress so yea it’s reall. And is a great mother sense sge’s been getting help. Sequoia, she did lie when she claimed that she came from a happy family. We now know that both mommy and daddy were drunks who fought all the time. And many of her fans believe that daddy dearest is imprisoning Brit against her will. She may be getting help but only because it’s being forced upon her. She doesn’t think there is anything wrong with her and neither do most of her fans. The crazy stuff has not stopped and if the cship ends which it probably won’t you can expect it to get worse. When one is manic, the last thing one needs is a bunch of fans calling you god. What she needs is a dose of reality and humility to cure the manic side–which ain’t happening with ppl like you around to cover her butt and shield her from responsbility. Had anyone forced her to face the responsibility for her mistakes as a child, then she wouldn’t be in the place she is in now.
