Here’s the movie poster for The Social Network, a.k.a. the Facebook movie. (I think a better title would be The Stupid Internet.) Jesse Eisenberg, looking very American Psycho here, plays Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg in the David Fincher-directed adaptation of Ben Mezrich’s book The Accidental Billionaire: The Founding of Facebook, A Tale of Sex, Money, Genius and Betrayal.
Remember, YOU DON’T GET TO 500 MILLION FRIENDS WITHOUT MAKING A FEW ENEMIES. Now visit the clever marketing website 500millionfriends.com and resume networking socially. Or is it social networking? Is that a verb? For me, it’s usually neither because I am a shut-in who’s too busy watching that new reality show about lesbians.

I like it. I would’ve gone with a close-up of Jim Halpert’s face with the word “book” written on it, but I like this.
I also like angry, ominous Jesse Eisenberg…it’s a good break from nerdy, stammering Jesse Eisenberg.
I’m not sure that I like either of the Jesse Eisenbergs. I’ve only seen him in Adventureland, but found him to be generally unappealing. Maybe this movie will change that.
Haven’t seen Adventureland, but I thought he was strong in “The Squid and the Whale” and funny in “Zombieland”, even if it was a pretty similar persona…looking forward to him maybe changing things up a bit.
Very “American Psycho”.
haha!!! I like that!
Aaron Sorkin wrote it. So OF COURSE I’ll see it. I think this could be a really good movie.
Word. Aaron Sorkin wrote it and David Fincher directed it. Damn near impossible to go wrong with that combo.
David Fincher is always a win in my book.
My love of Jesse Eisenberg is battling against my hatred of facebook.
Why do people hate facebook? Just wondering.
Because Zucks stole others ideas and made billions off of them, all while lying to his userbase.
Oh. I see.
Not to point out the glaringly obvious, but doesn’t the tagline indicate the movie is going to go into Zuckerburg’s alleged betrayal of his Harvard roommates? Not to mention it’s a friggin’ David Fincher movie! It doesn’t sound the portrayal is going to be all that positive. Wouldn’t Facebook haters want to see if for that reason?
Ugh.
Justin Timberlake is in this.
Why not go ahead and have Justin Bieber score the flick?
I trust anything done by David Fincher (since SeVen)
SAME.
>LIKE.
the poster looks great. it makes me laugh inside.
I voted option number three, because I do hate facebook, but I am incredibly excited about this movie. David Fincher, Aaron Sorkin, Jesse Eisenberg AND Justin Timberlake!?! There’s no way this movie won’t be awesome!!
I loved Ben Mezrich’s book – I can’t wait to see the movie!
This is going to be bigger than ‘Ishtar’.
Ben Mezrich is a fantastic author, and he’s so incredibly sexy ! I blew up a picture of him with those blond highlights and have it hanging in my bedroom. My BFF has one too ! Word is that he lost all of his movie royalties playing poker in Boston … So sad if it’s true !
I’ll watch anything that’s been written by Aaron Sorkin! The man is a genius XD
I’m vastly excited for this movie. Everything about it seems amazing.
