Ugh…so Skarsgard is just as willing to whore himself out for a big budget special effects crapfest as any other heartthrob…fine, but then I want his fangirls to stop fawning over how “edgy” an actor he is. Boring. And Kitsch chose to be in X-Men Origins: Wolverine, so he has a track record of poor taste in action flicks.
I want to get behind this movie and it has a lot of good things going for it: Berg is a great director, Kitsch and Skarsgard are both talented and super hott young guys, Hawaii is a beautiful locale, we can even cite Clue as proof that board game movies can work, but aliens…really? Have we all forgotten the disaster that was Indiana Jones IV?

Wow, I thought Alexander was hot in Generation Kill as a marine…but now seeing him in another uniform (or hopefully out of his uniform)…yum!!!

Lol I was pretty concerned about what t h Skarsgard was up to because I’d reaally like to see him in like most (big, clever, entertaining) movies, not a square character in a war movie, but your comments made me lol.
Still I want to see him became a star with a repertoire. I love watching his work he’s always making things fun to watch.
I am just IN LOVE with Taylor Kitsch.. I will watch anything he is in.. YUM YUM YUM!!! I just bought this coffee table book called About Face because he was in it.. He is shirtless and it is totally worth it!!!
Think it sounds like Alexander will have fun making it and be seen (even if movie is not great) as a good contender for high budge action movies. Many a great performance is given in fluff movies. I’d watch anything Alexander Skarsgard was in.
Which one gets to yell “B” “8″? Then the other one shouts, from across a plastic divider, “You sunk my battleship!” I’ve already written the script. Pay me.
I’m ready to buy a 2011 calendar just so I can circle the date when this movie comes out. A movie starring Alex and Taylor is going to be awesome, regardless of the plot. Uniforms!
