Does this mean we’ll finally be getting a Special Edition DVD of the first Fright Night, just like we did with The Stepfather recently?
I will follow David Tennant no matter where he goes with his career ~ if only he could return and be the Doctor again.
I agree but at least we can see him act in other things as well. He will always be my only Doctor!
finally a remake with great casting! Its like a nerd buffet lol
So Glad that David Tennant is going to be in something in the US!! Yea can’t wait to see the movie!!
Me too! I love to watch him in all that he does. I too am in USA
TOTALLY AWESOME CASTING! Colin Farrell and David Tennant! I’m liking this film already!
OMG! Probably my favorite ever. David playing Roddy’s character is great. David playing the vamp next door probably would have given me heart failure. Colin Farrell is a great choice for the count.
AllieBoBallie – Have you listened to any of the audiobooks read by David – I could listen to him read the phone book.
I so agree with that. His voice is sexy and soothing. I love the accents.
I normally spit on remakes… but that rumored cast has me salivating. Who is rumored to play Amy?
I think the best part of this remake is that it isn’t a full on remake. Sure the characters are similar, but there are changes in the script to revitalize it. The setting itself is in Las Vegas and Peter Vincent wont be an actor on TV but a stage performer. Many great movies are similar in taste to others. So what if this movie has been done in 85′ I agree that the original was a classic. but think of how amazing this movie could be with this casting and with a brand new look on vampires in the 21st century. (And I mean evil vampires, not sparkly ones)
I love DT no matter what he is in. He always gives a great performance and is a very versatile actor. Not to mention he is very hot! I would love to meet him in person.
