Griffin gives the camera her best sultry stare, alongside the list of categories she hopes to be nominated in: Outstanding Reality Program (Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List), Outstanding Variety, Music, or Comedy Special (Kathy Griffin: Balls of Steel), Outstanding Guest Actress in a Drama Series (Law & Order: SVU), and, most importantly, Outstanding Actress in a Soon to be Released YouTube Sex Video. At the bottom of the poster, Griffin coyly ads “They don’t give out an Emmy for ‘Best Airbrushing’ but if they did, I’d totally win.” She’s probably right. There’s always 2011, Kathy!
Griffin’s no stranger to crazy Emmy antics. She won the Best Reality Program award for Kathy Griffin: My Life on the D-List in 2007, but had her “Suck it, Jesus” acceptance speech cut from the televised broadcast, due to comments deemed “obscene and blasphemous.” How does this measure up? I certainly wouldn’t mind if other television stars followed in Griffin’s footsteps (cough Ed Westwick), would you?
I LOVE Kathy Griffin. The very point of the last three years of her life is that she has no shame. Yet people still call her out on it. As she would say, they can suck it.

I love Kathy and I normally wouldn’t like another comic like her, but I love how she doesn’t take anything seriously except friends and family. She really does work her butt off too. And she actually is financially savvy.
Seems like she really likes her fans too.

I agree, that Leighton Meester and Ed Westwick should get Emmy’s, the fact they make sometimes horrible writing look like a Shaksperian work of art is proof enough, they embody those chracters and you can tell they care about them. I wish they could, but we all know they never will, so hopefully they get the acclaim they deserve from their work after GG.
