Perhaps it’s because a few years ago I had the assignment of executing a Bruce Willis Tress Test to find out if his films do better or worse at the box office when he’s bald — in 2007, hair won. But I’m looking at his new video ads for Poland’s No. 1 vodka, Sobieski, and all I can think is, today, I’d much rather buy alcohol from a bald Bruce Willis than a Bruce Willis with hair. I’m guessing/hoping that the Sobieski people had a meeting about this very issue. Maybe someone in the marketing department had to do “research,” and my findings gave them pause. You made the right call, Sobieski. Do you agree?

Although I enjoy marveling at and making fun of his (and Nicolas Cage’s) hair pieces in movies, we all know Bruce Willis is bald.
If he’s going to appear in this commercial as himself, he HAS to go au naturel. (Plus, he simply looks more bada$$ bald.)
That’s a hell of an assignment!
