This show is so horrifying it’s impossible not to watch.

the only time I have seen even a minute of this atrocity is when they make fun of it on the soup. this is child abuse plain and simple, and shouldn’t even be on the air.
But don’t you know that none of these mothers say they would do this if the girl didn’t insist on it. Right.
If you have never watched the show except for clips, how can you judge it and the people on it? I think the mothers believe this will build thier child’s confidence, although there are some pushy ones who are looking for hollywood deals so they can quit thier jobs! I can’t stand the bratty behavior these kids get away with, but I can’t stop watching.
Please, don’t pull me into this crap. If you don’t report it, I won’t see it. It’s like a trainwreck. I don’t know if I’m more horrified by the parents, or by the fact that I will watch it.
Oh, lady, if you don’t teach your child to behave, someone who doesn’t love her will. Some stranger will yell at her, or some pagent official will yell. Please, learn to say no, and teach her how to listen to you.
I think she listens to mom pretty well. That was a pretty stellar imitation.

I can’t help it…I’m a sucker for this show – and the fact that people will STILL do it, even though it comes out looking more like a “how not to parent” documentary than a show about kids’ pageants…
She sounds like Bobby Hill from “King of the Hill.”

What a pathetic little creep she is .. of course, she’s been ALLOWED to grow up like that, so you have to blame the parents. They both admitted to letting her do what she wants. Great parenting. I hope they read this and see what losers they are. The dad just sat there like a 300 lb lump. God help that crowd … they all need a good swat!
Awful! She is a spoiled brat. I hate when parents use the excuse “their only 4 years old”. Teachers in school can control them…parents should be able to do the same. Wait 12 years and we will see her on 16 and pregnant.

How the heck is that rude?? This is simply the truth! If you are going to go on national TV and let your child display that type of unacceptable behavior, and make every excuse in the book ABOUT the behavior rather than do your job as a parent and DISCIPLINE the child you created (so that he or she can function in the world after growing up), then you open yourself to the criticism of everyone. SHE (the mother) elected to go “public” with her lack of parenting skills and her unexcusably BRATTY kid, so the feedback she receives is TOTALLY deserved!!!!!
I know a good spanking is not allowed these days, but this MacKenzie is such a brat she sure needs one. Trests her mother like a slave. I would yank her little butt out of the competitions and when she learns how to act like a tiny respectful lady she could rejoin. I cannot believe how brain dead these parents are about their little brat. If they don’t nip this in the bud she will be a total disaster as a teenager, if not sooner. Learn how to be a better parent rather than spending $$ on pageants. It will be best for your child in the long run.
I am telling you I would take that little Makenzie and put her where she would never see another pageant…it is abusive to watch these parents just stand there while she is a total little b–tch…I am amazed at these county bumkin totally over weight mothers trying to make a bull fit into a china closet.
