The “I love butchering animals” guy is simply horrific.
I love this show ’cause of Gordo. But being an animal rights advocate (+ a vegetarian), I cannot stomach with JOY with which this mental midget seems to enjoy inflicting death upon innocent creatures.
Beyond sick. He needs to step away from the crack pipe.
Hope he goes soon. I didn’t like “Silence of the Lambs,” either.
Luckily, I can DVR the show and FF through the parts that make me want to hurt.
And Fran is a bitch. Really hate her.
My opinions only. Deal.
Thank you A J I totally agree. That guy turned my stomach. I cannot fathom anyone who gets joy out of killing.
I know what you mean. He made my skin crawl when he made that comment.
Just a thought… last time I checked, butchering is a completely different action than slaughtering. He may not be the one that actually kills the animals; he may merely do the “cutting up.”
Just an FYI – Studied WELL, not studied good. Studied is an action verb. Seriously.
As over the top as GR is on HK, he is calm and instructive when he has students.
FYI, you don’t need an “an”. Seriously.
Brainiac. FYI is being used as noun. Hence the “an”. Nice try though.
I always find the signature dish part of the opener fascinating. I wonder if they chefs are told to do a lousy job because if I were going to be on HK, I would work really hard on my signature dish and practice the plating until I had nightmares about it. And I wouldn’t make chicken wings or use pre-made pasta.
And even if the Savoy is closed, to work for Gordon Ramsey for a year (even if he only shows up once in a while) would be career changing for a young chef (though I doubt that they will actually run the place).
Glad Fran stayed. Stacey was flustered too easily by Chef Ramsay. I am rooting for Autumn. She is definitely fighting that “angry black woman” casting stereotype, so good for her. She didn’t seem as mean or malicious as Fran suggested. I don’t think a woman will win this year. No one really stood out. As for the men, well maybe the dude who led well at the end. There are no standouts like Kevin or Dave at this point.
I thought he said “saliva” not “slobber”?
Clearly I was the only one grossed out by the PDA. EWWW! I don’t care if it is his wife – that makeout session was creepy.
i can’t stand this. i think you are one very mean person. there is no need for you to talk to these young cooks the way you do and you should be asamed of your self. no way to earn respect. all i see is the clips of the shows and it is enough to turn me right off of the show. there is so much better to watch without watching his abuse of these young people
