- Oscar-winning Milk screenwriter Dustin Lance Black will direct the adaptation of Matt Kindt’s graphic novel 3 Story: The Secret History of the Giant Man, about a man who grows to be three stories tall. I guess there’s such a thing as too much milk. [THR]
- Adam Beach has signed on to star as half-Apache Nat Colorado in Jon Favreau’s Cowboys and Aliens. [Variety]
- Swedish newcomer Katia Winter has nabbed a starring role in Deathgames, which co-stars Kellan Lutz and Samuel L. Jackson. Winter will play “a duplicitous succubus” in the film, which follows Lutz’s character as he’s kidnapped and forced to compete in a gladiator battle. I think I’d wager “tree fiddy” on Lutz. [THR]
- Brothers & Sisters director Michael Morris will helm Summit’s Golden Gate, about a female track star who befriends a crazy woman who frames her for murder. As if Marion Jones didn’t have enough troubles on her plate. [THR]
- Kick-Ass star Chloe Moretz has signed on to star in the coming-of-age indie Hick. [Variety]

First!
Say “duplicitous succubus” three times fast…
I’m fairly interested in seeing the “Cowboys and Aliens” flick. Hope we will hear more about that film soon. Kind of not curious to see a film about a dude three stories tall… I’m sure it was a great novel though. Some things just don’t transition well from novel to film, but of course, I could be wrong.
Wasn’t this the dude with those oh-so-naughty pix posted by his ex-lover? I’m surprised he’s not still ashamed.
