Hmmm Nothing too exciting for me. May go with Cake Boss or Bizarre Foods lol

    • trina

Have to admit, these marathons all sound pretty lame.

  • sam

hhmmm…perhaps today should be “Turn Your TV Off” Day..

    • Renee

      Very true, very true…

  • Jill

Out of all those options….the Clint Eastwood marathon is the only one that interests me.

    • Casey

Eastwood and maybe some of those old videos on VH1.

  • Buffy Freak

Curiosu that on MEMORIAL DAY, the freakin’ History Channel would opt to go with Pawn Stars. Is it too much to hope that the History Channel would air some programming honoring veterans?

    • Michael

I thought that was odd, too. Even the Eastwood marathon is only marginally related. I’ve never been into war movies, but I thought this was one of TCM’s big war movie days. Oddly, Spike is the only one (outside of the Military Channel, natch) that seems to be focused on the soldiers. I guess the search for ratings trumps theme again.

      • JenR

It is also Eastwood’s 80th birthday.

    • CJ

Granted — it would have fit better for today but yesterday the History Channel did have a marathon of the WWII in HD.

can’t help it–love this show. Must. Not. Get. Sucked. In–move away from the tv today, folks.

    • rj631

Can’t say I’m super disappointed. I love Pawn Stars. It’s like the most interesting Antiques Roadshow ever.

    • Mo

I have noticed that the History Channel now hardly seems to show any history programming in prime time. History International still shows quite a lot, but with THC it’s all ice truckers and loggers and pawnbrokers (although I guess depending on what got pawned you might learn some history.) I sure hope the History Channel doesn’t end up having as much history as The Learning Channel has learning.

      • Julie

History channel is now shooting Top Gear USA. How exactly does that fit?

  • Ann

I don’t think TNT’s L&O marathon counts as anything other than just normal Monday programming.

And there’s a Smithsonian channel? I don’t think my cable company carries that one.

    • snarkaluscious

Yeah, and the same with the Style Networks “marathon” of Clean House. Who are they kidding?? That show is already 90 percent of their programming.

  • nessab

There is a “Handy Manny” marathon on Disney Channel…

  • Liz

    cops for sure

  • Will

They always have a L&O marathons on Memorial Day despite the programing.

  • jules

I’m surprised SciFi didn’t haul out a Twilight Zone marathon, like they do most holidays. Of course, they show the same ones every marathon…

  • Mincha

Darn! I was hoping for a Chuck, Burn Notice or Project Runway marathon.

    • Will

NCIS fits more for Memorial Day

      • Tricia

They’re more addicting to pistachios, well have you ever just eaten one pistachio?

      • tvgirl48

NCIS fits more for USA network. This is another marathon that I don’t think counts as a Memorial Day marathon since this happens every other day. I think Tricia’s been brainwashed by their constant commercials! :-)

    • VegasChic

I was hoping for Burn Notice as well. Can’t wait til Tuesday. Guess it will be me & Clint all day!!

    • Denise B Black

I’m with ya on a Project Runway marathon but since it moved to Lifetime, I’m not sure Bravo is legally able to air reruns. I would love to see them again but, again, I don’t know if they are legally able to do so and if they were why would they promote a show that is now on Lifetime? Bummer

  • Madd

It’s Always Sunny marathon? I’m there.

  • kim in kentucky

    got Hoarders on right now!

  • bamalam

I’ve never understood why G4 has certain programs on their channel…Cops, Cheaters, Human Wrecking Balls…I don’t think these are things that videogame nerds want. I remember when G4 had more than 1 show about videogames and the latest technology…

What a load of crap. I think I’ll be watching some DVDs today.

    • jmcg

      Ditto for me.

  • Matt

BBC America is having a Star Trek: The Next Generation marathon as well.
