Some true front-runners emerged, Ty played the guitar some more, Craig R. made yet another “Rated ____” pun, and much, much male flesh was shown thanks to a “sexy guy calendar” swimsuit shoot. (We also spent a lot of time admiring Ali’s abs.) But mostly, this week was about Craig M. and his hair vs. Jonathan the Weatherman and his insecurities. Which was just fine with us — at least for now.

Frank, our favorite screenwriter who lives with his parents, killed it on the first one-on-one date of the season. His dubious employment played as free-spirited. His hyperactive humor came in handy as their car broke down mid-date. They kissed atop the Hollywood Hills. “I met a guy today who made me believe that everything I’m looking for is possible,” Ali voice-overed. And there was more making out and a rose for Frank.
The group date yielded a lot of dude insecurity about swimwear, a song from Ty (and thus a rose for Ty), and a revelation from Jonathan to Ali that Craig M. was “dangerous” after the latter’s relentless taunting in the house. “The amount I want a rose is equal to how much of a dick Craig M. is,” Jonathan told us. So, a lot.
Jesse — who is distinguished by his woodworking and his hotness and his tattoos and the interplay among those three factors — got to go to Vegas, which was good because it enabled us to see him in a variety of hot settings and hot outfits. (Ferrari, pool, swim trunks, suit.) Ali seemed like she really wanted to like him, presumably because he is so hot. He got a rose and some making out for his trouble.
The big choice of the night — Jonathan vs. Craig M. — came down in Jonathan’s, and, miraculously, our, favor. Craig M. was out after just two weeks of villainy, and we also lost the unmemorable Tyler V. and Chris H. in the process. Oh yeah, I saw that too! I thought I imagined it or something, so it’s good to know I’m not the only one.
Not only that, but when the car broke down at the beginning, they were next to a wall on a freeway. And then all of a sudden, they were broken down next to a hill and trees. Bad editing. Do the producers think we are all stupid or blind??!!

I did not seem to notice, but my husband who happened to watch the show with me did notice the rose. When I looked a few seconds after that it was a red hankerchief. I am now under the impression after reading everyone else’s comments, that my husband was not see things! I thought I liked the Weatherman at the beginning, not too sure of him.

Yes, I backed it up and pointed it out to my husband. Horrible editing! Although I’m not a huge Jonathan fan I think that Craig M was a jerk. Couldn’t even be bothered to learn Jonathan’s name.

Yes, I did notice the rose on the Weatherman’s lapel before she gave out the final rose to him. Makes you wonder how much of this show is rehearsed/staged or was it just poor editing. I replayed the DVR few times just to be sure I saw it correctly.
Man got rid of the “villian” so soon? The man looks older than his age, for real. I am trying myself to like the “weatherman” but his tattle-telling reminds me so much of gradeschool. I would have gotten rid of him just for that. Maybe the reason Allie didn’t is because she did the same to Vienna to Jake. The only difference was Jake had his own mind and he didn’t get rid of Vienna because of what Allie said. And we all know who won that one. I guess Allie doesn’t have a mind of her own and so she got rid of the so called bully. Hey Allie, you WERE the REAL bully in your episode so you should know how Craig felt. Losers!
You’re right that Ali was a real bully in the Bachelor… but Craig did act like a big jerkoff bully to the guys. And then, when he was with Ali, he didn’t even act interested in her at all! Is it just me, or did that guy look like he was on coke the whole time?
OMG I saw it too but thought I must’ve been seeing a different guy. Or maybe because they showed the Weatherman sooooo much in this episode that I was just seeing him over and over again! I wish he would’ve gone too. My boyfriend thought Weatherman was too effeminite to be on the show. LOL!

HECK YEAH, my husband and i both saw that!!!! it makes me think it’s all preplanned now, but i can’t help but get involved in it anyway. GOD i wish she’d get rid of both though!! get rid of the drama before it starts!
I heart Roberto too – especially after he said he got drafted by the Twins and Rockies – my two favorite baseball teams! (Twins girl at heart but moved to CO and have learned to cheer on the Rockies too) That just capped it for me, he was one of my faves already but what can I say? Huge baseball fan.
I thought the only reason she let Craig stay around after the first night was because the producers told her they needed some drama. Surprised they killed him off so soon.
They let him go because there is, no doubt, other drama coming (from previews at least one guy is there with a girlfriend). But glad to see good win out over evil for once on this show. How immature/big a bully can one guy be. He made a total a$$ out of himself talking to Ali. And his face looks like a saddle.
Weatherman is sweet, sensative, and I think he did the right thing by alerting Ali to Craig M’s maliciousness. Do I think he’ll stick around? — no. But I think he went out on a limb, and he has my admiration for that. And by the way, Roberto is HOT!
On one hand, I hate when guys waste their alone time by venting about others. On the other hand, Allie did this herself last season and probably appreciates it…
Yeah she did this and look where it got her?! No Jake and Vienna stayed! It usually never pays to tattle but I guess in this instance it did. Whatever, Allie has no mind of her so I don’t really care who she chooses. I am watching for the HOT men!

So was I! I really thought the last rose would go to him and couldn’t believe it when she gave it to Jonathan who came across like a major whiner. Chris H. was REALLY cute.
I am so glad Craig M. is gone! I was surprised Ali didn’t get rid of him sooner! I am not a fan of Ali because of her caddy ways from the last batchelor!
AS a Torontonian, I’m completely MORTIFIED that Craig M. is roaming our streets right now. I guess all hope rests in Justin “Rated-R”…Oh goodness!
thank goodness you sent Craig R home. He was like the mean GIRL on the playground. He chose Johnathan and tried to ge all the other guys to jump on the nasty bandwagon with him. He needed to go and I hope hes lonely now.
Craig M. is what you get when you troll the bars looking for reality show contestants. I agree that Jonathan should have gone home. He seems totally insecure. Craig seemed to pick up on that. The weatherman seemed heavily “therapized” and was prolly picked on as a child.

Chris might have been cute but he was laughing the loudest at Craig M.’s childishness and that was about all the personality he showed.
I saw that too Jim and was unimpressed. That Chris was pretty good looking but anyone who sides with a bully and joins in, is a loser and he deserved to be cut.
I’m glad that she sent Craig packing because he is such a jerk and didn’t seem interested at all, but I also think she should have sent weatherman home because he is so insecure and focused on talking about Craig that he didn’t ask Ali any questions either. I guess we’ll see how he does now that he doesn’t have Craig to obsess over

Why does Ali always talk like she’s drunk? Always slurring and garbling her words. Also, are we supposed to believe that some of these guys are in their twenties? They look 35+ for sure. Also, wtf is up with Kasey’s voice???? The biggest WTF goes to Ali’s hair extensions. What possessed her to do that, and who is telling her they look good?

He is a big sweetheart. I like him, Chris L., Kirk, and Roberto the best so far. Jesse is a little young but there are others I’d let go first, that’s for sure.

In the premier I thought Ali looked really out of shape, but she looked good tonight in the bikini top and cargo pants. It’s weird – it’s like she looks heavier with her clothes on!!
