'American Idol' hidden gem alert: Crystal's dad totally had Mr. Bill in his pocket

ARE YOU KIDDING, Crystal’s Dad? A Mr. Bill doll? This could be the greatest Hidden Gem of the entire spring 2010 season, and keep in mind I’ve mined thousands of on-screen baubles from Dancing With the Stars.

Is PapaSox your American Idol too, P-dubs? “Oh, no!” Say yes!

I’m gonna be mean to him!

    That’s amazing!

    He’s totes my American Idol.
I have decided to look for hidden gems in every reality show I watch. I need a new way to somehow keep my excessive TV watching from rotting my brain now that LOST is over.

Omg! I noticed that! It’s both endearing and awesome. He’s the coolest dad to the coolest chick.

I saw that, thanks to my new HDTV! “My name is PapaSox and I rox the Mr. Bill.” I want to party with that family. Can anyone confirm if Crystal’s boyfriend was doing the Caddyshack Gopher dance during “I’m Alright” on movie night?

EX-boyfriend now. He decided to break it off and drive back to Ohio Tuesday morning.

She revealed on Seacrest’s radio show after pushed to explain her offhand remark that Tues “had been a tough morning.” She said it was a mutual decision.

She hoped he would come to the finale but he didn’t.

He didn’t like the “lifestyle” compared to being a small town guy and she wants to be as successful a recording artist as she can be. She put on a brave face but she was clearly wishing he had wanted to take the journey with her.

Ugh, it’s already here… the cost of fame and fortune. Crystal is now at a huge juncture in her life, and I seriously hope that she doesn’t lose herself to the lures out there.

I sincerely wish the best for her and her son, but I seriously believe that she will have to consciously and deliberately put him first each day to keep from losing everything.

Well she is better off in the long run. If they don’t want the same thing it would of gotten worse. You can lead a horse to water but you can’t make them drink.

  • Dana

    love it

My favorite gem of this season was seeing Hannibal Lector (Sir Anthony Hopkins) in the audience. Did not think covers of Huey Lewis goes well with chianti and fava beans.

So funny…but kinda scary too! Can’t figure out if I want to have a beer with this guy, or pass him my spare change as I walk by without looking him in the eye.

Mr. Slezak, please say you’ll ask Crystal about that when you interview her! :)
