What is weird is that directors still want to hire white actors for foreign characters when there is large pool of foreign talent out there. Probably much sexier men too!

never mind the hair – which i think looks great – but jake playing a persian? sorry, knowing that he’s an american, i find it hard to believe him in that role.
everything about this movie looks unappealing. i love jake, but no.
I think the hair looks hothothot. hmmm… this is the first time I have disagreed with Slezak. Sad day.
Love Jake…don’t hate the hair…but why the English accent? Is it because so many of the rest of the cast is British? Makes no sense to me.
Forget about the hair. Jake is a funny looking, awkward whit dude. He doesn’t come to mind as an action hero; especially not a Persian. Why didn’t Disney get a real Persian to play the Prince of Persia? I predict this movie will flop.
Sunless tanner and gross hair does not a Persian make. Sorry, I will pass.
How about we focus less on the hair and more on the accent? O, and is his hair so important that there needs to be an article about it?

The prince needs to have hair like that…
The character is NOT Persian, he becomes the Prince of Persia by marrying the Sultan of Persia’s daughter, the Princess. The video game character actually bears a strong resemblance to Jake. Pale skin, brown hair, blue eyes. So please don’t liken this to MGM casting Ava Gardner to play the role of a black woman in “Show Boat”.

Jake’s hair looks like Jill from Home Improvement. It is just not working for me AT ALL. Good thing I wasn’t planning to see POP anyway…
