'Bones' recap: I ain't sayin' she's a Gravedigger. (But she is.)

Who was worried that Heather Taffet was gonna walk last night? After Sweets’ speech to Cam about how the world is unjust, I actually thought Read the full post.

I liked this episode! Did Brennan’s dream remind anyone else of A Nightmare on Elm Street? I just find that funny since Robert Englund was in ep 101. Every episode needs to be this good :D

Don’t hate me, but I kinda wanted her to be aquitted… I thought that they didn’t have a lot of evidence. Of course, maybe the jury was convinced by how creepy she is and her terrible fashion sense… :)

Some things about Bones I don’t understand. First, why Brennan’s sudden desire to quit? She’s stated just the opposite lately. She freaked at Booth wanting a relationship with her because it would tear them apart as partners (which wouldn’t happen but I digress…), she’s stated numerous times that being partners with him is important to her, as is what they do. Yeah, she likes the other aspect of anthropology too, but she is a FORENSIC anthropologist. That’s sort of what she does – solves murders. I don’t understand why all of a sudden she wants out. That came out of the blue, imo. Second, the nightmares thing came out of nowhere, as well. I wish they had built this up better. I didn’t buy that Brennan has given two thoughts to the Gravedigger until the trial started. I don’t buy that she wants to run away or that she wasn’t sleeping because of this woman. I will admit the episode was intense and I too believe Taffet would go free. But aside from that, the rest (and what’s to come) doesn’t ring true.

Gee, what happened to my post?

      Nevermind.

No, not nevermind. My post was there, then it was gone, then it was there, then it was gone again.

Usually I’m not a fan of courtroom drama, but Bones did an excellent job of it. And its amazing how nervous I was when the judge was about to read the verdict. I love Bones- no other show can make me get this attached.

    Why are posts disappearing?

I kept wondering why, once the subject of bias was raised, why they didn’t bring in character witnesses for the members of the jeffersonian.

I actually wanted gravedigger to get free though. Not because I *Want* her free, or want a continuation of her storyline, but the show in no way convinced me it was going to happen, and I hate when shows go for the obvious ending.

I think so much depends on if the show is going one more year or two.I think this episode actually did a better job of showing Brennan’s internal conflict. I appreciate her reluctance to stay-I thought the fact that she even talked about pain and sadness was telling. I kept thinking about the Sully episodes when Angela told her to leave – I think Booth even told her to leave. To me this seems a very believable set up. I do not see her leaving or maybe she will quit the partnership and that will be the beginning of thier relationship. Obviously she cannot leave the show for more then episode.

When I saw Cam talking to Sweets I actually got emotional. I mean It’s Cam! She’s the one who usually is the boss and is in control, and I think she’s also the comic relief within the team. But watching her sort of have a break down, broke my heart! I saw how much her team really means to her. Seeing Cam so upset really shows you how much this affects everyone. I cannot wait till the finale though! I mean the cab seen made the tears I shed for the ending of the 100th episode resurface! =[ Booth’s face was heart-crushing!

I loved the ending last night. If they would have kissed, it would have ruined the moment. I think it leaves open so many possibilities. Mr. Hanson knows what he’s doing. I believe we will all be pleasantly surprised next season.
