WOW, everyone is so harsh on Colby. No Colby did’t get to the final 5 simply because of luck. Yes, he is weak in challenges but YET he has managed to hang in there even though he is a bigger threat for jury votes. Why? Because he plays an amazing SOCIAL game. He flies under the radar, makes friends with everyone & is very well liked. If you read the interviews with all the voted off contestants, most everyone has had positive things to say about him. JT went as far as to say Colby was even nicer in person than he could have ever imagined. And that he would want to be friends with Colby more than anyone on the show.
To show how amazing his social skill was, you just have to look back at the previous episode. Candace was no threat for jury votes after her flip from the heroes to villians but yet the girls wanted to split the vote between Rupert and Candace. Why? Because they all liked Colby and kept him as a result. Imagine spending 24-7 with all these personalities. Apparently, Colby’s easy going nature is drawing them in. And quite frankly, of anyone on the show (villians or heroes) Colby is the most normal, grounded and sane. He would definitely be the only person I would want to grab a beer with. And everyone here is raking him over the coals because he’s checked out of a game which has been probably the most nasty, dishonest and conviving of all the 20 seasons? Please. Give me Colby anytime over anyone on the show.
no one likes colby this season….im sorry not bashing him but, the smartest thing he did this season was tell rupert to vote for candice so she would go home 5-3 lol.
He has not done ANYTHING for the season or for his gameplay

I love how everyone talks about how horrible Colby’s social game is when we NEVER saw the Heroes because this season was so focused on the Villains with the edit. I’ve had to watch all the clips on CBS to know what’s really been going on!
Haha, I can not believe you guys do not like Russell! He makes this show fun and entertaining. Without him you would not have a reason to like Sandra and Parvati would be voted out a long time ago!!!
Before you go off and say how much you love Parv and Sandra, sit back and think about who got them where they are? RUSSELL! He has played the “game” great and did what he has to do to make it to the end. Everyone else just rides his coattail.

It’s not fun and entertaining to see someone orally fellate himself in front of national TV and be deluded as to how other contestants actually perceive him.
Both Parv and Sandra have made some considerable moves that actually made sense for them. Russell made moves just for the sake of doing so.
BTW, playing a great game means that you actually perform in such a way that it GAINS you votes, not lose them.
If Sandra hates Russell that much than she should have gotten Colby and Rupert to side with her and write Russell’s name down and knowing that the other villains would vote for Rupert, she could have given Rupert the idol and then Russell would have automatically been voted out of the game. It annoys me that Russell goes around and threatens every one and they still don’t vote him out. I know they are thinking that if they bring Russell to the Final three that all the jury members he pissed off won’t vote for him and that could very well be the case but what if they do vote for him? Would they be o.k. losing to Russell? Oh well, I can’t wait for the finale but sad to see this season end.
WRONG! Sandra HATES Russell but, she is smart enough to take him to the finals if she can. Notice how eventhough Russell has acted like a lunatic Sandra and Parvati continue to just side with him and keep him confortable….two winners and a hated player in the final three…common Sandra and Parvati both know they can beat Russell and they are both on the same playing field because they have won in the past….
I will laugh so hard if Colby wins immunity next week and makes it into the Final 3. If he does win, than the villains will have to pick off one of their own and if the girls are smart, than they will vote off Russell.
Why vote off the most hated villain in the game? thats a stupid move….its like if I had the choice of who to have sit next to me in the final 2 and I chose Hitler over Jesus….to vote off russell is suicide….he is a guaranteed win.
Thank God, Sandra played that idol even if it was just to show to Russell that he isn’t the only one who can find one of those idols and then to keep it a secret instead of blabbing to everyone like Russell ALWAYS does when he finds one. Yes, Russell, you are a bad ass in spite of your small penis and being really short. Talk about having a Napolean complex.

If the Ponderosa videos are any indication, Russell hasn’t a prayer of winning. Every single person on the jury seems to hate him very deeply.
I only started watching because I was in Samoa when they were scouting and back during filming but these have been the best survivor seasons yet,Russell I him at first but he can play the game,might not win but has made it so good to watch even with the spoilers,FaFa Samoa

Russell is easily the best survior. Problem is the jury will be acid on him as he has out played them all. They say Sandra wins which is a shame as she has contributed so little. She just hangs there like Colby who is suffering from amnessia. Full marks for Rupert trying a different tact
Being the best player means that you actually consider how well you’re perceived by those you’ve had a hand in putting into the bench. And for what it’s worth, bitterness in juries is a given. It’s up to you to maneuver your way out of it.
To be fair, Sandra has been doing quite a good job. “As long as it ain’t me” works damn well for her. That way, no one could blame her.
Parv is a great player as well. She’s got brains, brawns and social niceties.
As for Russell, he’ll always be excellent Finals gold for anyone left in the game.
I hold Tyson to blame for this entire catastrophic season. If Tyson would have just done what Boston Rob & he agreed to do, but NO, Tyson had to freelance it & attempt to vote out Parvati AT THE WRONG TIME. IMO, Tyson & Coach are the lamest, thickest, most reprehensible people to ever appear on Survivor. The entire season has been one stunningly painful episode after another. How is it possible that Parvati & Russel are still hanging around going into the final week? It could only happen because both the heros & villains are truly the lobotomized. What a sad group for a final 5.
So glad Rupert went home, next Colby & Russell. I want Parvati to win!!!

so glad rupert lost. i have been waiting for that since day one. one of the most delusional people to ever play the game. condescending, entitled, boring… he has some charm, i loved him on pearl islands (in the beginning) but id really like to never see him again, thanks. go parv and sandra!
