Kate, what a moron you can be!! Celine never recorded that AC/DC song. It was for a special event. Gee, you could have put a link to one of her great French material, or oven some gems that people don’t know of from her last album. Just go to YouTube and look for Fade Away or Can’t Fight the Feeling!! You’ll be surprised! Her Taking Chances CD/DVD with tour documentary is coming out next week! Celine is the favorite because she’s down to earth and CAN sing LIVE unlike most popular female singers these days!

Umm ok?! I don’t even know anyone who listens to Celine, so unless she has a lot of fans who are ashamed to admit it I think this survey is flawed.

I understand. I am a fam. And I don’t get why people dump on her so much. She’s virtually scandal-free, Has a genuinely nice and goofy charm, seems to really enjoy performing, and is a gifted vocalist (something that the current pop music scene seems to frown upon for some reason, not just her but any singer that truly has chops). So as Celine would say in her “trying to be hip” style “You go, girlfriend!”
Was this poll being done in 1990s? She has been gone from the music scene for years. While she might be popular, but I don’t think she’s the most favorite. Of course, unless all those being polled are in their 40s or 50s.

if you listened to any of her songs that are in her native language maybe you would understand. she is incredibly talented and sings with so much emotion that many of today’s popular artists lack. show celine some respect.
In looking at the poll, Celine was #1 in people 65 and up. They obviously included too many of them in the survey, which skewed the numbers. It’s that simple. Anyone under the age of 50 knows that she’s nothing more than a screeching harpie.

I totally agree!! I’ve been a fan since 12 and now im 22 . She is a REAL deal. Show her some respect. No one can sing like her now in the industry. She’s amazing live and when she performs, she gives me shivers up and down my spine. Her stage is like her home. She’s the best there is.

She had sold out shows almost every night for 3 years! again, those cheers aren’t coming from old folks. And now she has signed on for another 3 years. She’s amazing! I think if they did a worldwide poll, Celine would be #1. She is just that amazing! She may not be popular with the “teen boppers” but Celine is well known and well loved international, she has a following of devoted fans, and people from all around the world who love and admire her. This poll doesn’t surprise me, it makes sense. Except, I know that majority of Celine’s devoted fan fall in the age category of 20-40. I myself am 24 =)
