Image Credit: DiscoveryMan vs. Wild host Bear Grylls debuts his new series, Worst-Case Scenario, tomorrow night on Discovery (10 p.m. ET). Grylls puts himself in potentially life-threatening situations to demonstrate how to survive them. The network has sent out two clips (embedded after the jump): escaping a vehicle after a crash, and rescuing someone who’s been in a water accident (like, say, when a jet ski collides with a canoe). You’ll get excited when you hear Bear talk about hypothermia in the latter one, but, alas, he keeps his clothes on. For now. Story developing…

this dude is insane
I saw a preview where in one episode he’ll show how to escape a car that’s sinking in water. They did this years ago on the local news. Amazingly, you should crack a window as soon as you hit the water (if you can) because under water, closed windows don’t open. You let the water fill the car until there’s little air left, then suck in as much air as possible, before pushing the window down and swimming out. Of course, this is considering that you don’t happen to have one of those car window smashing hammers in your car.
This show could either be really cool or really lame. Not sure from the clips.
I don’t like him at all, but if there’s the remotest chance of seeing any amount of nudity from him, I’m so there. Why are you teasing us with the “no nudity – for now”?
Bear should know he needs to be naked in 1/3 shows.
My worst case scenario would be Bear coming to my house and trying to eat what is in the cat box.
hey edward u r so amazing and decent keep going on dude.best of luck
