LOVE THE MOOSE jokes! Ranks right up there with Same washing his “gigantic darks”. This show ROCKS!
Love this show–it’s definitely one of the best things out there to watch! MORE INFO FOR FANS PLEASE!
Why aren’t these recaps longer? We need more spoilers! This show is hilarious–smart, funny, and the guys are BEYOND HOT. Just watching them move is entertaining, so the excellent plots and one-liners just make it compulsively watchable.
I enjoyed the episode and I’ve become addicted to having to check out the recap and comments every Friday here on ew.com. It’s fascinating to read all the thoughts, theories and banter.
Two things really made this episode for me: 1. Sam got a good strong story line. I am a HUGE Jensen Ackles fan and love Dean to bits, but this is a show about both brothers and so much of this half of the season has revolved around Dean. This is a great balance between the two and Jared did a fantastic job expressing Sam’s emotions or reigning them in. 2. That pause moment when Dean was caught off guard. I agree with Sandra, it was nice to see him a bit flustered he usually so cocky and brash that he’d spitball something off the top of his head. This was a fun change of pace and got me giggling.
I just saw the sneak peak that Michael Ausiello posted on his blog and I am so very happy to see Cas back. I can already tell I’m going to be crying at some point during the next two episodes if it is true that a character is being killed off. I love this cast, I love this show, it’s so much fun, heck ya! And as a commented mentioned, they always have great supporting talent. I can’t praise this show enough. I’ve hooked friends and family onto the show over the years and continue to loan out my DVD’s to convert more.
Oh POOR Sam, I feel so bad for him the only way he’s every got anywhere bad is by trusting people too much and its infinitely sad that life keeps smacking all that trust out of him to the point where he literally only trusts Dean. What started out as Mr Sensitive, too open and too trusting Sam’s now so jaded and I hate show and love show for doing that to the poor kid in equal measures. Nice to see Dean trusting Sam again and both of them felt centre stage in this one.
Didn’t miss Castiel, in fact I prefer Crowley ten thousand times over, man Sheppard can act!
But John and Bobby were possessed by demons. Remember Raphael’s meatsuit was an empty shell, totally burnt out when the angel left. And the only reason Dean might survive Michael-possession is because Michael promised to put him back together afterwards. Bearing in mind that Sam couldn’t even get the better of Meg when she possessed him are we really supposed to believe he can wrestle control from Lucifer himself?
I thought the episode was fine, but I thought we were going to see famine. I’m stocked that I guessed the right car though. Maybe this episode will look better in retrospect when we see the final two episodes, and it’s not just another filler episode. I’m thinking it will be, because this season as tended to waste too much time on filler that doesn’t advance character development or the main plot. I am worried that they are going to try to put too much into the last two episodes.
I thought the “Moose” reference might be for Rocky and Bullwinkle, who are referred to as “Moose and Squirrel” by the Boris and Natasha.
I like the BSG actors in Supernatural. They have all been great. Now just two episodes until Sam and Dean say “Yes”…Can’t think of a better way to start Season 6, now that we know there’s going to be one then with Bro VS Bro with the Apocalypse as a backdrop.
Brady wanted to spread a vaccine infected with the Croatoan virus, so that everyone would be infected by it.
This show is excellent. Even somewhat filler episodes like this one are filled with crisp one-liners and hilarious, multi-layered characters. Crowley was funny and evil, and Dean still gets the best lines ever. GREAT SHOW!
I loved the whole deal with the vaccine,it was so simple but totally ingenious!!! Pestillence starts spreading swine flu causing mass panic, put demons in charge of a workable vaccine the n layer that with the croatoan virus and the people come to you. I believe we saw the initial distribution of the demons end game!!! God I love this show!!!!
