Chelsea Handler might be willing to speak frankly about her sex life, as we saw in her first memoir, My Horizontal Life, but that doesn’t mean the comedienne has bared all — on tape. After Radar Online claimed they had possession of a sex tape starring Handler, the comedienne went on the record about the story on Chelsea Lately. According to Handler, the film is actually a bit she sent out to casting agents as a 23-year-old: “I would like to say to Radar Online: A) thanks for ruining my surprise Christmas gift to my staff, and No. 2, it was made as a joke. I put it on an audition tape for a comedy club because I’m a comedian.”
Phew. I think Handler’s head would have exploded if she had to admit to having something in common with Kim Kardashian.

I love Chelsea Handler. She is my idol. And I think her response to Radar is HILARIOUS!
LOL! That would be the day. Her and Kim Kardashian leveled off on the same playing field. But in Chelsea’s defense, why would she need to do such a thing? She is married to the President of Comcast. So money CLEARLY is not an issue in her life

Also, it says she made the tape when she was 23, so clearly this was at the beginning of her career when she was struggling to get attention.

I love watching her late talk show on E!. I don’t care about the sex tape. Never wanna watch it eww! But still love to watch her show for good laughs at the end of the day…
I love the fact that she is now on the same level as Herpes Hilton and Kardashian.
As far as excuses go, this one about it being an audition tape makes perfect sense if you are planning to work for Joe Francis otherwise its the stupidest excuse since Eddie “I couldnt sleep so I went driving around seedy corners and decided to give a transexual hooker a lift because I have a good hear” Murphy.

The woman isn’t funny and her show is horrible. You knew there had to be something like this going on for her to get a TV deal.

Her show used to be funny, but now so many of the roundtable CH comedians seem to believe they are awesome that their jokes bomb now more than naught. Lonnie Love and Ross Matthews are still very good. The curly red head guy is horrible, as is Heather MacDonald and the dude that always wears the baseball cap (balding?). And Chuy is just a dumb joke that played out 3 years ago.
She’s tried to play it off but failed miserably. Now she’s embarrassed like she embarrasses other people.
Her so called humor isn’t a bit funny.
