The judges criminally underscored Evan – he got the same score as Jake? seriously? what in the world are the judges thinking?

Lyn is obviously pissy tonight about something. I hate when he doesn’t like any of the dances! Evan was awesome. He is so much better than Jake and to give them both the same score is ridiculous. Jake trips over his feet every week and they never take off for that!
Who cares, you’ll all still vote and save Evan.
Seriously! The guy is touring with Stars on Ice the same time he is competing on DWTS. He has two broken toes and a concussion and he only gets about a couple of hours of sleep a night. Yet he is still dancing so well! Give him a break!
Seems like Evan was grossly underscored for dancing too well and Nicole was overscored for not actually dancing.
It is so obvious they want Nicole to win. Evan was better than her tonight and they gave him those scores?!? Come on! Nicole is a great dancer, but she has gone nowhere in improving. She started well and is still there. And Evan was better than her tonight. Vent done.
Evan danced like a ballet dancer. It’s OK, he will still beat Nicole in the finals because he has more fans, as long as he has a good freestyle.
I agree with Zach that Evan is likely to beat Nicole in the final since he has more fans. I wasn’t a particular fan going in, but I am now. It’s refreshing to see a professionals team working towards a goal. Evan and Ana work hard, but seem very non-diva about it.

OMG, I totally thought the same thing. It actualy pissed me off. I can’t believe they gave him that low of a score. I thought his dance was better than Nicole’s, but that could be because I like Evan WAY more than Nicole.
I don’t understand why Jake gets the scores he does. He stumbles or trips every week and he acts like a complete tool. They judge him very generously and judge Erin and Evan very harshly.

All those moves she used in her samba are very similar to the moves she does as part of the Pussycats…She knows people aren’t looking at her footwork!
I completely agree with Len. If it is not a Samba, than how can you give it a 10. All she did was mix some flashy moves with easy samba moves and gets a standing ovation.
I am so over Nicole and Derek. Can’t stand either of them. I am so sure you are going to worry about the camera getting your best side. It is so obvious they want her to get to the end. She didn’t do the dance right and still got a 10 – B.S. and there is no way she should have won the swing marathon. Fixed! No More Ringers! No More Ringers! No More Ringers!

why were the judges so awful to evan?!? he has the lowest score this week! that is insane because his samba was leaps and bounds better than chad, jake or neicy!
I totally agree. The judges were way too harsh on Evan. I mean, he scored the same as Jake, but Evan had a flawless performance and Jake nearly fell over on Chelsea.
I agree. I feel like the judges had grown to expect more out of Evan…to score him at the same level as Jake and Niecy is ridiculous.
I love Evan but he was appropriately scored. All through the dance I was pointing out to my husband that his upper body, in particular his arms were far too lyrical for samba. Erin’s arm movements were perfect for samba. Evan just did not have it. His footwork was much better but waist up—not the samba
i definitely don’t think it was his best performance, but a critique about his lyrical arms is picking at details. i’m not saying he should have gotten a ten, but jake tripped over his own two feet and got the same scores!
It may not have been his best performance, but if Niecy or Jake had done that dance, I feel like they would have gotten a 8 or a 9. The judges were way to harsh on Evan.

My hidden gem is the pink one shoulder dress with the huge shoulder that Vienna Girardi is wearing. I’m pretty sure my barbie had the same dress in 1985.

Dude, I bet Vienna was pissed because the new Bachelorette, Ali, was there. When Jake was on The Bachelor, it looked like he was going to choose, but she dropped out because of her job. And he clearly still seemed happy to see her tonight so Vienna probably got all defensive. I say go Ali, or Chelsie for that matter. Anyone is better than that fool Vienna.

Here’s a hidden gem. Was that a dude in the audience pan (while Niecy and Louis were headed for the judges) with a whit flower in his hair? Or was it just a bad camera angle? Either way, the flower was just a distraction from the esophageal spasms of Louis van Amstel.
