Okay, so I love me some Idolatry, but now that you just referenced Doctor Who (especially the “Blink” episode!) you are that much more unbelievably awesome in my eyes.
I think my major complaint with this season is how bland it’s become. Aaron, Casey, Mike… (even Lee and Crystal on occasion) can be pretty boring. Siobhan may make major mistakes, but you can rarely call her boring. That said, I wouldn’t be sad at all to see a Crystal-Lee finale, but it’d be a heckuva lot more interesting if Siobhan stays in till number three.
I want to get off this subject and
ask anyone if they agree with me.
Shania Twain is the mentor and the
idols have to sing her songs. WHY?
She hasn’t had a hit song in years
and her hit songbook isn’t that
extensive. The pickings are thin
especially for the guys who can’t
exactly sing Man, I think I’m a
Woman. This is country week and
there are so many better choices
for mentor such as Reba, George
Strait, Martina, Kenny Chesney,
Brad Paisley and even former Idol
Carrie Underwood whose had more
hits than Shania. I think this was
a bad choice for the show.
@Helen – you answer you own question. “she hasn’t had a hit in years” thats why she has lots of free time to be a mentour, and yes pickins are slim, why do you think they had Madam lambert on as a mentour?

Has that hyena Tim Urban left? We can continue watching. We had to stop after the offensive ‘Under My Thumb’performance. What a shame for so many Purifoys of season 9!
I don’t hate Crystal. I just wish sometime in her life she met a comb. Is that too much to ask? Dental work is expensive, but a comb is pretty cheap and they sell them everywhere. Casey reminds me of a guy I once knew. When I first met him I thought he was the best, but the longer I knew him the less special he became to me. I think he will be one his way home soon. The judges don’t like Siobhan. That is very clear to me. She can’t seem to do anything to please them. I’m surprised she has lasted this long. Lee is okay, but pretty generic. Big Mike is annoying and that leaves the young man whose name I can’t remember. This season just hasn’t seemed that exciting to me. In fact, I think it’s time for my nap.
The Doctor Who clips were fun. Do this more.
I don’t get what the big deal is about Lee Dewyizhestillhere, the guy F’ing stinks and can’t sing a lick!
They shouldn’t have saved mike, They should have saved Tim. I miss him. </3

Siobhan was horrible, I dont know what the judges wee listening to. Casey sounds like a goat singing, although this was one of his better ones in awhile.. BAAAAA
I so agree that the Band is DESTROYING THIS SEASON. Horn sections SHOULD BE BANNED!
I could tolerate this show if (1) it was a half an hour long, I mean really, it takes a whole hour to count off the results for six people? And (2) if the judges weren’t so obvious in who they want to see win. We should scrap all judges, except Simon who is leaving any way, and replace them with Neil Patrick Harris, who tells it like it is, Cyndi Lauper, who would also tell it like it is, and Rod Stewart, who knows what it is like to survive the industry for decades.
Mike needs to go. He is so full of himself and sings in the same tone every week. What do you see in him? As for Crystal she shows hardly any emotion when singing and they got rid of Sibona what a deal. If either of these win it will be the last year I watch Idol
